Fabulous EGPUs package in a small footprint
Great for Windows but needs some software tinkering on Macs. Small package great punch!

Great eGPU, wrong plug.
As far as the product goes; so far so good. It was a well researched purchase and it’s doing its job pretty well. As another reviewer wrote the thunderbolt 3 port on the back is a little flimsy feeling but I’ve yet to run into trouble. It came however, with a European power cable. When you’re spending the tall end of £700 on tech from a UK site you should be able to safely assume you’re buying UK stock that ships with the necessary equipment to connect it to the damn wall. It’s a regular kettle lead, so like me you’ll probably have a few lay about - but do check first. Supplier knowing this should be dispatching a UK lead along with the main package at what would be very little cost to them. All very silly and disappointed what would otherwise be a great buying experience.

While Apple has embarrassed itself with such poor graphics capability
High end in use with HTC Vive Pro on Windows 10.Very hard to get to work on a Macbook. While Apple has embarrassed itself with such poor graphics capability, they continue the road of shame with lack of support for NVidia graphics cards. In short I would not recommend Mac users buy this until Apple sort themselves out. On a PC it's great.Comes from Italy to UK - has an Italian power cable so you need to prepare yourself with a UK PC-type "kettle" lead. Could do with being better packaged Amazon for shipping as box was a bit battered which made me wonder how good the contents were. It was OK though.

Works great
Works great on Lenovo Windows laptop. Had some issues with my Ubuntu partition, but it's not officially supported so that's to be expected.

The 1180 is out soon...
When it worked, it was amazing. Ran my Oculus Rift with ease.Stopped working after just over a month. The fan spins but the lights don't come on anymore. Not seen by Windows any longer. Still waiting to hear from Gigabyte.Update:Working again now. It was a windows update that messed things up. However I had to figure this out myself. Support from Gigabyte is a joke.
