Genuine improvement over the original ear pads
I bought these as a replacement for my HyperX cloud 2 ear pads which had worn out (again) and were no longer available as spares. These are more comfortable than the originals, the pleather is of higher quality (so hpefully won't degrade so easily), and the sound quality is a little better too.I can hear things on the high end that were being muffled before. I thought I was getting old, that may be so, but the ear pads weren't helping.

Opening too small.
The width of the ear opening is only 4 cm compared the the SteelSeries which is 5cm, as a result these are not combatable. Quality is good.

Total disappointment
No where near as comfortable as they are described. Far to big for hyper x headsets, the opening for your ears is massive and doesn’t sit properly on your head. Just keep the stock ear pads they are fair more impressive. These are a waste of money

The insert into the headset is way too big and does not fit as advertised, very misleading
