The Allergy Store Zippered Vinyl Mattress Cover, 6 Gauge, 16" Deep Queen White

For the price this product is great. I give it 5 stars because is nice thickness. I have one for about 5 months now, and its been holding up well. Just purchased 2 more for my other two kids beds. I prefer the plastic full cover for cleaning up accidents easier. In time I am sure the plastic is going to break down and Ill need to replace, but that's with anything. I had cloth water proof covers, but even after some time and washing those are no longer water proof. At least with this I can "see" when it won't do the job anymore since holes are typically seen and not found AFTER the accident lol.

Look, my kid is a bed wetter. This protects the mattress from the worst of it, and it's not uncomfortable under sheets. The plastic is just the right amount of thick. Seems pretty durable so far, and it fits well so it doesn't shift a lot. It's worked well, and I'll buy the same thing if anything happens to it.

I bought this at the end of last year after going through at least 2 - 3 mattress covers that were purchased in the stores which were loud and thin. Every single one of the covers I bought before made A LOT of noise and they all ripped to shreds. I finally got tired of using masking tape on all the tears and one day sat down and researched online to find this one. We've been using it on my DD's bed for over 6 months now... not a single tear! It's like a miracle. It's way thicker compared to all the others we've purchased before. DD's bed is a queen, and I read the reviews that recommended buying 1 size up and tucking it in. That's what we did and it has worked perfectly! I paid full price for this and it was worth every single penny! Now it's on sale for $20 so I just ordered one for our King size bed. :) I highly recommend it!

I purchased this for bed bug problems since it stated it was "Certified to be 100% Bed Bug Proof" but that isn't accurate, at least not in my case. I used this with the mattress cover as well and bed bug spray I purchased on amazon, bud bed bugs still here, and after several bombings. Maybe it helps if used on a brand new bed to keep bed bugs from getting into the mattress and box spring. Other than it's not bed bug proof if there are existing bed bug problems it is a high quality cover that will probably protect a mattress from liquid spills and the like. I plan to purchase a new set to put on my new bed.

I did keep the one from his off-campus housing to use in the garage as a dropcloth, sure I’ll just get a new one for my daughter each time, because to me that’s what I’m getting it for. I bought this more expensive zippered mattress cover and the first thing that was noticed is that the quality of the vinyl is thin and nearly see through, secondly once it was put on and attempted to zip it the zipper was not even aligned where it could zip up. I paid to have it shipped over night because of allergies. My boyfriend gave up and finally just closed it up with duct tape to seal it. Spend $35 you dont want to have to repair it before you use it. Im not going to waste any more time trying to return it but I would never purchase it again.

Exactly what I needed to keep my kid's beds clean and dry. I have one child who is potty training and another who not only sweats buckets but still occasionally has accidents. I bought this to put on the new mattresses as apparently, my husband did not understand that you can't remove the sheet and flip the mattress over to "dry" without actually cleaning the mattress. This cover not only makes cleanup easier since we just have to remove the soaked sheets but also prevents future misunderstandings about how to clean a mattress. I've slept on the bed with my daughter a couple of times and it doesn't affect how comfortable the bed is.Update: So I found myself needing to purchase another one of these. No fault of the product, we moved and it got caught on a piece of metal and ripped. I looked through my orders to find this because they have spent the past two years being jumped on, peed on, drawn on and generally manhandled. We still have the other one I bought and it shows no sign of needing to be replaced. It helps that they finally got out of the potty training stage, so now all they deal with is sweat. If your gonna grab a mattress cover for heavy duty purposes go for this one!

I do not love vinyl.I don't like that it doesn't breathe, I don't like that it's made of nasty chemicals.But I tried and tried and tried to find something that did not leak and failed.So I bought this to protect a twin size mattress and it has done the trick. Preschooler nighttime accidents with lots of wetness - no leak. Cat peed on bed, no leak. Mattress has stayed dry.I have washed it once on cold delicate cycle and air dried and it held up fine.So, for what it is, it works!Every single other mattress protector that I bought in last 10 years that claimed to be waterproof has NOT been. So that's why the 5 stars. This actually is waterproof. Hallelujah.

Works great on my extra long twin bed. No disgusting plastic smell like other cheap product.
