Not the REAL Work!
I listened to Dr. Fung on Mercola.com, and was interested enough to want to read more. Imagine my surprise when the first words of the book were, “This summary guide is in no way associated with and endorsed by Dr. Jason Fung.” It goes on to explain that this is a summary, and encourages the reader to read the original work.I was surprised at the low price, and at the small size of the book, but the fact that it’s a summary of the work is far beyond disappointing. I will attempt to return it. I hope there’s not more of this lurking within Amazon.

Worth the money for anyone wanting a basic understanding of why fasting may help them
I heard the doctor who wrote the book here summarized tell about it on the Dennis Prager radio show. Prager was obviously impressed with the ideas and, being one of his fans myself, I decided to learn more. This summary is an easy quick route to knowing all Dr. Jason Fung's arguments. He's not the only one arguing for the usage of fasting for weight loss, enhanced longevity, and other benefits. The science ought to be transformational, and I'd suppose it'll be generally known of within the coming century. Although I may not read the Fung book, I endorse purchasing this very adequate summary.

One Star
Fortunately my sister bought the full book. When they say this is a summary, they aren't kidding.

I thought this was the book not someones idea of or summary of someone else's book.
