Best feature is there so easy to use.
But one of these from my workshop to level my lathe and two level the table top on my drill dress. I found using these to put a birdfeeder pole in straight works great with the V Center. But I found the best to use is for leveling clocks when I repair them. I usually buy one and send it home with the clock. I’ve repaired that way. The customer knows how to level their clock properly and I make sure the clock works perfect when it’s perfectly level is a great selling item.Also, the magnetic base is great when you’re working with metal

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son
Johnson makes well made quality tools.My son and I used it to setup the angle for his solar panels. Easy to use to find angles or to setup angles. Good value and long time company.

Very simple and useful
I bought two in different occasions, last one was not at zero compared with other 3 measuring tools on the same surface. Maybe It was bad luck, but that's the way It is. I know It's not intended to be used for super precise measures, that's why I gave 4 stars and not less.

The new one is improved far better than the last one.
The first one I bought had a magnetic strip that was pretty weak. I work in a shipyard so everything is steel. It was still useful but it was lost, this new one has a big chunk of magnet attached to it, quite a lot stronger, and over all it seems to be better.

Helps with finding pinion angles
got to have some kind of gauge , but get yourself a Klein angle finder and the spicer angle finder app , get it right

Quick delivery, worked as described.
The magnet on the finder was strong and allowed me to use both hands on the project. I used this to set the angle on a hydraulic cylinder on a piece of farm equipment.

Works well for finding the angle of a surface. The magnetic strip is helpful as well.
I like this model of level since you can read the angles to within less than a degree of angle. I use this for adjusting the angle of a solar system ground mount seasonally.
