I bought this for a DR chipper. Great price for a new carb. It bolted right up runs great right out of the box. Easy install and came with new linkage and spring for the throttle and new gaskets. Very satisfied!

the price of the carb makes it way more economical to replace a gummed up carb than fixing the old one. installation was straight forward except choke shaft didn't fit for my application which required a minor modification. overall snow blower fired right up and runs great.

I installed the carburetor and was amazed. It cranked first pull of the rope. I would have never imagined it would have cranked so easy. It has never cranked that easy even when new. The idle was even set correctly. I would highly recommend this if you need one.

I'm not much of a mechanic, but my high school classes in small engine repair, 50 years ago, paid off when I encountered problems with my generator. It's an 8 year-old TroyBilt with a 1450 Series, 305CC Briggs and Stratton engine with less than 150 hours use. I kept the oil changed religiously every 25-30 hours of use and maintained it for use during Hurricane season.It was in the shed for four years without being used, but when weather threatened I pulled it out for stand by. However, it would not start. I went through the fuel system, changed the oil, check the filter with no success. I sprayed carburetor cleaner in the carb and it attempted to run...telling me the carburetor was the issue. A new original manufactured carb was over $125 and I did not want to rebuild the carburetor with a kit. However, when I checked on Amazon, I found a replacement for over $100 less. When it arrived, it took less than 30 minutes to replace and the engine immediately started. I let it run for 20 minutes and it never sputtered! Now, we are ready for the next big storm.

After seeing rebuild kits for over $100 I figured I would give this Chinese knockoff replacement a shot. At less than 1/4 the cost of the rebuild it is a tremendous value.Very easy to install, direct replacement. I would have gone 5 stars but the plastic choke control is kind of flimsy. Once installed, however, my generator cranked up on the first pull!!! Runs like a champ.So when the Chinese hit our power grid with a cyber attack, ill be able to use my generator with the cheap knockoff Chinese carburetor.Is that irony? I think so.
