Peter and the Wolf: Easy Piano

Am using this book as the backbone of a Peter and the Wolf piano recital. Did it 7 years ago and it was a big hit with students and parents. The music can be challenging at times, but w e added costumes for a theatrical effect. A lot of fun for all.

For every age this is a great arrangement of Peter and the Wolf. Obviously, for babies to play it will have to be simplified way further, but for anyone else, it is delightful: the pictures are imaginative and colorful, the amount of music extracted from the original score well within the attention span of music lovers, young and old, neither too complex nor too simple. Those who play the piano will love the pleasure they give their friends and family when they share this with them.

I enjoyed it immensely. Prokofiev was a great composer, with a super imagination.

Not exactly easy piano music, but it is a nice arrangement of the music for piano.
