If you are on your way to heave weight, this does save your some gym membership money
Would give a 5-star at this moment for someone looking for this item.I was not satisfied with the regular size (14") dumbbell handle, so I came to try this one, 16".I did one-arm dumbbell row at ~90 lb on one handle, and it does not show any sign of bending.Pros:1. Heavy duty, and its length, 16"2. Nuts as locks, way safer than clip-type. (I sprained my wrist due to a loose clip while doing workout on my chest in Mar 2017, not fully recovered while writing this review)Cons:1. Best you can get is 4.5" for your weight discs (or maybe a little bit more, if you try to risk your safety), and you would need another 0.5" for the nuts.2. As the item description says, it comes with a 1.125" for weight discs, make sure you measure your weight discs' central hole before ordering.3. For some people, 16" might not enough for your progress, so am I. I might need an 18" or a 20" pretty soon.

Nice but annoying
As described and work well but I underestimated the annoyance of changing weights for super sets and regular lifting. Again not bad - but wish I spent a little more for the easier sets. After 3 yrs 1 of the knobs is hard to get on (ordered 2 sets so out of 4 - 1 has a small issue)

Works great
This was actually purchased as a gift for my husband. He has a dumbbell set already, but wanted a second pair so he wouldn't have to reset the weights in-between every single exercise. They were just what he was looking for and are working out perfectly.

Good solid construction but they will not fit all brands of weight plates
Like some of the other reviewers, I found out the hard way, than some of my plates do not fit on these dumbbells. The quality of the dumbbells themselves are great, but I can't use them until I find some plates that fit.

These are functioning fine for me however the rubber ring keeps falling out ...
These are functioning fine for me however the rubber ring keeps falling out of the weight collars. The collars also don't secure as well so they require tightening between sets. But otherwise they do the job.
