This book has been my go to book for 19 years! And I’m a professional homeopath! Of course I have more in-depth materia Medica’s, and I have resources that are more up-to-date. But to get a good overview of each remedy, and to prescribe for acute sicknesses, this book is excellent

I've consulted a homeopathic practitioner for decades and have a large collection of remedies at home. She moved away and is more out of reach to consult easily. I bought this hoping that my momentum through the years would acclimate me to using the materia medica. OK, it's a learning curve but I'm happy to be able to look up remedies that I can't remember what I took it for or to learn new aspects of the ones I'm familiar with. Good price & sturdy enough binding to last a long time.

As expected except for cosmetic damage. Very useful book.

I have been using the battered copy of this at my healthfood store for several years and really wanted one of my own. This is a well constructed book, likely to stay in good shape for a long time, at a very reasonable price.It came from India so took a little while to arrive, but well within the predicted delivery time. Nicely packaged, including some weatherproofing. Well worth the cost.

Can’t live without this text. I’m referencing it daily for recommendations for remedies for my family and friends. The homeopathy bible. I’m so thankful to have this valuable text.

Great resource book.

Yeah some formatting issues, the info itself however is irreplaceable. You won’t find details like this on the internet or in western sourced publications. These are textbooks.

Needed to replace dad’s crumbling 50 yr old book but couldn’t find anywhere in shops. Really pleased to finally get it. It is the same book page for page and comes with Repertory. Exactly what we needed.

I got into Homoeopathy last year due to my sheep and i've been looking for a copy of this book ever since and have always found it too expensive (all of my other Homoeopathic books being 2nd hand). But finally, i found it here, brand new!! and the price was great. I'm mainly using the Narayani Combination Remedies so already have the materia medica for that but with having a lamb that needs constant care at the moment due to a bad case of orf, i discovered (by looking at the back of this book) which remedies don't work best when used together, therefore, her treatment of silicia and hepar sulph was not working right due to each antidoting the other. Drop the silicia, use infection spec instead and hepar sulph. (She got grit under the orf wounds and got it infected). I haven't read it all the way through, but if you are wondering what book to buy for Homoeopathy, this is one that surely ranks up there. However, calling it the pocket manual is a bit daft as even my pockets aren't that big!!
