Excellent cotton flats for diapering
Been using these diapers for my newborn for about 10 weeks now, along with a Snappi fastener and origami style fold to bring it all together. We wash them every day or so after collecting the merely wet diapers in a dry pail. The two packs I originally purchased were about the right number for us to cycle through this way, though we do switch to disposables for nighttime hours so as to avoid wet spots on the crib mattress. The edges of the diapers are sewn well and have lasted perfectly well despite many rounds in the washer/dryer, and we've never had any issues with staining. The fabric feels soft but folds up crisply after drying. They are absorbent, but do need changing as soon as you notice they are wet, or there will be a damp spot on clothes or blankets, at least when using the origami fold sans inserts or covers. The weave has held up well to the teeth of the Snappi, and the combination is secure yet fast and easy to get onto and off of our baby. We've never had any issues with rashes or irritation when using these diapers and I would recommend them to anyone looking to start their newborn off with cloth diapering, particularly in combination with the Snappi fastener (I found traditional pins to be dangerously difficult to try and force through this weave, in contrast). In closing, I would recommend these diapers to anyone interested in traditional cloth diapering.

Absorbent, Well made, Great quality, soft, very light
I bought the 12 pack. Initially they didn't absorb liquid but after you wash them multiple times they work like a charm. I am very happy. I bought five 12 packs and would totally buy more.I love how light they are, they didn't shrink after wash and dry, they don't really curl up or wrinkle much out of the washer and they are a great size (pretty decently large for use of diaper)The important thing to know, organic cotton fabrics have a natural oil in them, this oil prevents liquid from absorbing into the fabric. so you need to wash them in order to remove all the oils. Use hot water and detergent. (Babies need a specific detergent if that's what you're using this for) Hot water/and dry on high heat. After 6 washes, that is when I started to notice a shift in absorbing. So be patient and prepared, that's how many washes it took me. And I still washed 3 more times for the results I wanted.

Wanted to try something different
We use pocket diapers, but I wanted to get these to have as back up or for emergency since they dry well without a dryer and my inserts take more than a day to air dry sometimes. It took me at least 6 washes before it became more absorbant, but I'm noticing they are getting a bit more absorbant with each wash after that since it takes a while for the natural oil to come out. I like that these are softer than the bleached kind I've tried before from a different brand. These are not as soft as my bamboo inserts but they are not too rough, they seem comfortable enough for baby to peruse around in a cover. I love these so far and use them padfolded in a cover or pocket diaper. I wish I started off with these first since they are more affordable and customizable but it's ok, live and learn. The quality is good.

Perfect diaper
I have a number of brands and sizes of flat diapers (including the more expensive Green Mountain Diapers, Swaddlebees, and Diaper Junction brands). I find myself reaching for the Osocozy flats most of the time -- my son has been wearing them every day since we got them. They're perfect for padfolding and laying in a PUL cover for very easy cloth diapering with no bulk under clothing. I plan to also use them padfolded as inserts in my pocket diapers. They are soft, surprisingly absorbent (my son uses them during naps without doublers), wash easily with no issues (no need for specialty detergents), dry very quickly (I line dry them indoors, and they are usually dry in a few hours), and take up little space to store at home or in the diaper bag. We took them with us on vacation and used them the entire trip. These Osocozy's are the cheapest flats available -- they paid for themselves in less than 2 weeks. They're also great as makeshift receiving blankets, burp cloths, and changing pads, and for cleaning the floor when potty training. And when our diapering days are over, they'll be used for kitchen clean up rags (they work better than flour sack towels). The only con is that they are rectangular shape, which is an issue for those who want perfect square for easier folding and pinning. I actually like the shape for the way I padfold, so no problem for me. I'm very happy with this purchase!
