Once I sent photos showing the issues I was having, Thurso Surf honored their warranty and shipped me a replacement from CA to AL - at no charge!The Thurso Surf Max is an awesome paddleboard for beginners because it is very STABLE!All 12 of the first-time paddlers who have used the board have been standing and paddling for yards without falling,The Max is EASY TO MANEUVER/TRACKS WELL. With my 80-lb dog on the front and my full-of-stuff Thurso Surf Deck Bag in back, the board still turns easily and is no more difficult to paddle than my smaller paddleboard, even with the extra dog/gear weight.The Max is ATTRACTIVE.The Max comes with so many ACCESSORIES. The pump it ships with is sturdy and easy to use; the wheeled bag is generously-sized, handles easily, has sturdy zippers and is roomy; the paddle quality is top notch and the leash is well-made and comfortable.The set-up of D-RINGS and BUNGEES is both attractive and useful. Bought this board mainly for fishing and to take with us camping. Needed something very stable and durable.Arrived on time and everything was in good condition. Took me 12 minutes to inflate with no issues.This is a great looking board! The paddle is good quality, durable, and light. That's important.After five fishing trips on this board I have yet to have any issues. This was my first paddle board and I'm very happy with my purchase.Had one issue with the storage bag but the company was very responsive and they sent me a brand new bag within days. Great customer service!If your looking for a stable board, this is it. I paddled around for an hour with my wife sitting on the front while we followed some dolphins around. Barely noticed she was on the board.

Love this board! Well used. Sturdy with me my girl, two pups, and a cooler of beer. Such a good buy.

Bought one direct from the mfg and while decent it had some quality issues. For starters there was excess glue on top of the foam where it switched colors, not huge but yellow glue on the white foam was very noticeable. That and the foam wasn't centered on the board was another disappointment. Bigger still was the tape that covers the seams along the side was already separating after using it twice and Thurso's fix was to send me glue and tell me to scrub the old glue off. So while it was decent it definitely wasn't a $1,000 board seeing as I got a kayak seat and carbon paddle and electric pump and all that stuff.

We did tons of research before purchasing our boards. It came down to the irocker and the Thurso max. We use our boards for all day trips and need to pack quite a bit on our excursions. We went with the Thurso Max because it offered more storage, front and rear. Plus, when we bought our boards there was a 4th of July special where the kayak seat came free. I didn’t think we would ever really use those, but they come in handy in windy conditions. So now we make sure to always pack them, and it’s easy, due the amount of storage space. We are very happy with the boards and the company. They were very attentive to my questions.

This was an extremely nice package, the board is excellent, the set up is easy, the pump works extremely well, and fast, very stable, works well with dogs, paddle is excellent, the backpack is excellent, in fact after using it, my daughter also bought another board that was smaller from the same company, likewise she likes hers very well. Manual inflation takes approximately 5 to 6 minutes, keep in mind that's for somebody who is over 200 pounds using the pump, I did buy the electric pump separately, for my wife and daughter to use as well, it works extremely well, it's really hard to find anything to complain about anything in this package.

This thing rocks. It's super solid, well made, easy to use and very functional. It got lots of handles and bungees, and the battery powered electric pump is a life saver. Excellent quality paddle as well! I think this is a much better value over the cheapos. I expect it to last.I'm a bigger gal, tall and around 220lbs, and this board feels like the right size for me. I went tandem with my husband (similar weight) and we had no issues.Shipping was faster than Amazon predicted. I contacted the company for something and they were fantastic as well.

I love this board. I went from a hard board to an inflatable and researched alot before I purchased. This one seemed to be a great fit for us and I love the width. We have it on our boat and take two dogs back and forth to shore and it's amazing for them. I would definitely recommend it!
