It's a versatile enough adapter but I only seriously got around to using it properly this week (unfortunately too late to return it and try a different one). My biggest issue is that when I plug my MacBook Pro's power cable in and route it through my Mac doesn't always charge and I get a quite disconcerting electrical buzz coming through my headphones which only stops when I ground it by touching the computer. The other problem I have is that the attached cable is way too short and inflexible. I found my portable CD drive came unplugged from the USB type A ports when I picked up the drive top edict discs on a couple of occasions too as if the port was a bit loose fitting.

I recently bought a Yoga S730, ultraportable laptop. This only came with USB-C ports, and I was looking for a way to get Traditional USB ports, HDMI and also SD/Micro SD Card reader.This provides all of that plus has a matching aluminium case which is almost the same colour as my laptop.These all work perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase.If there's one thing negative I had to say, it's the Skey logo is quite big on the case. However if you bothers you, then just turn it upside down, where there is no logo on the other side - USB-C beign reversible allows for this no problem!

Seems as if everyone else's has worked but not for me!Came in a day with prime delivery, packaging was good and looked protective.The cable is a little stiff and hard to remove from slot first time.But within just A FEW SHORT HOURS of standard use it has already BROKEN, I have only used it to connect a normal usb mouse and connected a hdmi to it. I only used one port at a time and never charged my laptop while in use as I had seen this might cause problems, even being carful it has still broken. The connection was a little 'iffy' at first and then completely stopped working and shows no signs of why.Hoping to get a REPLACMENT but failing that ill get a REFUND 😔😤

Some points to note about the hub:Although the fold-away USB-C cable is a neat trick it is hard to open from its storage location with the plastic cover over the metal plug, but it is easier without it.Instructions say SD card and TF card cannot be used at the same time.USB-C port (female) is for power delivery only (when connected, tablet does not appear in PC file viewer so cannot transfer data). I don’t have a male to male USB to test if the USB3 ports work with a PC.USB-C cable connection is hard to insert into and remove from the tablet (after using a few times it isn’t getting any easier and I am worried about breaking the USB-C on the tablet); it is only 65mm long in total, meaning the tablet has to be flat so as not to pull on the USB-C port.Samsung S5e does not fast charge when connected through hubConnecting HDMI to TV does trigger Samsung Dex mode with tablet acting as a trackpad; I find this difficult to use so revert to mirror mode and use the tablet as normal with display mirrored on TV.Due to the tight USB-C connection, short cable and not fast charging I have returned the product.

Cheap and badly designed. I used mine on a Surface Go and the length of the wire means you can't walk around with it as it just hangs there. Cant rest it anywhere so every time anything moves it pops out of the type C. No idea why the wire isnt a bit longer. After half a day the type c snapped leaving bits in my computer. Not worth the money.

Used the item about a month regularly and already its loose and won't plugin to my mac book Pro. Looks good, but quality is cheap and with a little use will loosen and won't support USB and other plugs.When purchasing be careful, if u want to pay a high price for a product that lasts weeks/months at a stretch then this is definitely for you.Terrible quality. Would never buy it again. Waste of money.

Does exactly what it needs to, provides all the ports I need (an Ethernet may have been helpful but isn’t needed). Good build quality and space grey is a close match to the MacBook colour.

I can definitely recommend this product, it is working brilliantly for me. It is fairly compact and very portable, with a variety of useful ports. It is the best USB C adapter I have purchased.
