I love the Reclaim paint
This turned my cabinets a yellowish color, so I had to paint over the sealer with the paint again. I was painting over dark wood & it just bled through the paint. I love the Reclaim paint, but not the sealer.

Works as Advertised
This is great furniture paint. You can apply it directly on a clean surface. I did part of the cabinet that way with 3 coats of Reclaim and with the rest I cleaned, deglossed, put 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of Reclaim and then the Reclaim sealer. Either way the cabinet looks great. That said, it was a four day process-not for the lazy or faint of heart. :-)

A must have!!!
Repainting cabinets is a huge time investment- reclaim sealer adds an extra layer of protection. I used three coats of reclaim paint on my cabinets but I noticed it started to chip in heavy use areas. I repainted those areas and sealed everything with the sealer. Same rules apply as the paint- make sure you use a roller as much as possible.

Never Again.
I used this sealer as a topcoat for two different projects. On teeny tiny spots, where keeping a wet edge is not an issue, the sealer looks great. On larger projects, where one must work quickly to keep a wet edge, brushing back into the product to blend will produce really ugly dull streaks. For a water based finish product, one would expect more.I am also extremely disappointed with the claims that it lays down as it dries and will not show brush or roller marks. That is completely untrue.I am a finisher by trade and take great care to keep my application marks subtle or invisible.Regardless of what brush or roller I used (Chinex, foam, microfiber, stiff synthetic bristle) I could not get the product to live up to that claim. My next trick was to try conditioning the sealer with a water based extender, which only seemed to worsen the problem.I might add. . . the furniture that I used this on was painted with reclaim base paint and sanded perfectly smooth with a Festool Rotex 90 dustless sanding system in a temperature controlled environment. So, never again, Reclaim. My go-to topcoat is Polyvine Satin Finish Wax Varnish now and forever.

Nice satin finish
Love Reclaim products. I used the full kit and just needed some more sealer. Works great. Make sure that the surface is sanded real good before applying the sealer. Let it dry and cure completely.

Good protection for paint in a heavy traffic area.
I used this over the Reclaim Paint in my kitchen. I think a sealer was a good idea for this location. I love the way it looks.

Great product
Bought to use over a chalk painted bench which I placed outside near the front door. So far it's working great. Product was very easy to apply.
