I wanted to love it but it did not work for me
I recently ordered a nintendo switch and was very excited to get all of my accessories. When I found this charger I fell in love and thought the idea of the lights indicating whether your remote was charged was very convenient. However after plugging in the charger and trying to charge my remotes, That was the one feature that was not working. I tried charging dead remotes, partially charged remotes, and even plugged in a fully charge remote, however I kept getting the same results... When I plugged in the 1st remote the light would go red. As soon as I plugged in a secondary remote the light that was red would go green, and now the remote I just plugged in is red. If I continued and plugged in more remotes the same thing happened each remote would turn green upon a new remote being plugged in. In the end the only way I was able to tell If a remote was totally charged was to plug in one at a time and let it charge until the light turned from red to green. Being that I ordered this charger to charge all of my remotes at once, and it would not do so, I decided to return it.

I really wanted to love it, but the two I ordered were both faulty.
This charging station is honestly perfect in design for my needs and I would give anything for one that worked. However, after having to return two, I give up. The first one had flickering lights and the cord refused to stay in without me having to rig up some rubber bands around the device to hold it in place. The second one had the same cord issue and one of the four joycon spots wouldn't charge at all. Just to note, trying a different USB C cable did not work. At this point, I'm going to spend extra on the official Hori one, I think.

Charges em up, even comes with the usb C
I bought some 3rd party controllers for my switch so that friends could play games with me at home like smash bros. Downside is usb C isn't super common yet and I didnt have enough charging blocks/ports to keep all the controllers charged. This charger fits my extra controllers, only needs one usb C input, and charges everything safely. Doesn't get hot or anything like that. Only complaint is that the plastic indicators in the middle are a little bright at night, but I keep it behind some stuff now so it's not obnoxious. Might be a good night light for kids too haha

Not a bad product.
Charges pro pad and joy cons very nicely. The pro pad looks like it may fall off the charger at any time but but you go to pick it up the controller is on the charger nice and tight. One of the few things that I would add on the next model is to add a on/off switch.

This is an excellent item and it will not over charge
It should not charge 100 percent. But that's why your controllers will not get ruined. Some people will complain that it does not charge all the way, but that's intentional. This is an excellent item

So far so good
I like that it came with a cable. I plugged it into the back USB port of the docking station and it works great and sits nicely behind the system. I had two joy cons already charged when the charging station arrived so I plugged them onto it and they lit up red for a second and blinked red/green a couple times and went to solid green. That tells me it works properly. So far so good, if I have any issues I will update in the future

Just a random review
The box came a bit ripped on the sides but everything else seems fine. Though, I have yet to test the dock because I don't have any joycons/pro controllers to test it with. I only bought it to future proof myself when I get the switch lite meaning I would have to buy joycons separately, also meaning that I can't charge the joycons with the switch itself. With a cheap price and good reviews, this was a no brainer.edit: my red joy cons arrived so I can test it now. Everything seems fine. Joy cons are easy to put in. The charger will glow green when turned on and when the joy cons finished charging and will glow red when the joy cons are charging as advertised. The way you slot in the joy cons is face the charger towards you and slot them in as if you are slotting them on the switch. The joy cons cannot be slotted in on any of the 4 charging docks. They have a set position.
