Perfect Ambiance
I am very impressed with these lights. They add the perfect ambiance to my balcony and the solar panel seems to be surprisingly good quality. Even with clouds, rain, and not a whole lot of sunlight (my balcony gets about 6 hours of light a day), they work great! They come on right when it gets dark and stay on for a while. They aren't super bright, but they add a nice, warm touch of light. A few of them have slight discoloration (some red streaks), but it doesn't bother me too much.

Not what I expected
This product is not what I expected at all. I purchased them as a gift and was embarrassed when I saw them.First of all, the balls are very, very small and are hooked on the LED light string with wire ties! I probably could have made this myself for much cheaper had I known how they were put together.The only reason I purchased them is because they are solar powered. Not sure if that works yet, as it is cloudy out here.I don't even know if the light string is safe to use outside.

Dimmer lights than expected, holds solar charge less than expected. At least they look cool.

Nice lights. We ended up returning them in favor of a different style light that looked better in our yard, but these were well-made and will look really nice in the right setting.

If they had continued to work, I would have loved them...
It's difficult to decide on stars to give this item. Had it continued to work the way it did the first night, I would have loved it. But it apparently had a loose wire and initially would only work after the first night if I "fooled with it." The lights are lovely, but I had to ask for a refund. I might try purchasing again next year. Had they worked, I would have given them 5 stars.

Solar is awesome, stays lit all night
Need to clean off solar periodically to keep charged. Solar and lights very small, lights like Christmas bulbs inside plastic balls the size of woman holding thumb and index finger together. Will not work for lighting backyard for cooking or eating but great for light accents and all night security with no electricity.
