Pfaltzgraff Adventure 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4

Love the brand

We remodeled our kitchen and so I decided to throw out our mismatched silverware and get something new. I ordered two sets of this silverware and I am very pleased. They are not thin and flimsy. They will match most any kitchen decor. My husband even noticed the new silverware and said they felt sturdy in his hand, unlike our old ones. I am very pleased so far!

I have no complaints. I had seen this product in a department store at a higher price a while back. The bonus for me was that it very closely matched an older set I was already using.

Much thinner metal then prior sets from same production line. I hate the soup spoons they are to flat.

I needed extra tableware for the holidays. This was a pretty close match to the set I have. For the price of 4 place settings (a good price I felt) I was able to expand what I have to what I need when all of my family is here. I am not a stickler for high-end perfect plates, silverware, etc. as I am a practical person who does not have room for "better" china and silver. I use my everyday stuff for all occasions. I especially like the knives because the handles are flat and fit in the drawer nicely. It is also a very good weight, not cheap-feeling or looking at all.

A friend of mine ordered the 45 piece version of this collection from Amazon as a gift for me, which I loved. I wanted to fill out the set so that I could have a serving for 12. Although both sets were ordered from Amazon, the 20 piece set was clearly inferior and not what is pictured. For instance, the knife in the picture shows a 'french style' knife. What comes in this set is just a straight knife AND it was about half the weight of the better style. The fork is cut smaller. All of the pieces are lighter and they do not wash well. They come out spotty. Let me be clear, the pattern is the same, but the product is not. I really wanted this 20 piece set and am very sad that it is an unacceptable replacement. I called customer service and they sent me another set.....just to be sure. Same problem. They even gave me the number to Pfaltzgraff, saying that it came from them. The operator there said it must be an old version. All I know is that this is a great disappointment to me and that Amazon should take this choice off the web or change the picture to reflect the actual product.

I think the price was decent and the quality is good. I like the weight of the set. Most importantly,the sizes of the spoons are spot on. The bigger spoon is perfect. Sometimes in sets they make the dessert spoon tiny and the dinner spoon huge for a giant. These are very practical. I dont usually have a problem with fork sizes and these are no exception. Would buy again

Pfalzgraff isn’t like it used to be. I have some from the 80’s that are strong and made well. Just missing a few pieces so decided to buy new. Pfalzgraff is made cheaply. Almost as thin as the ones in the dollar store

Very nice. Bought them 3 years ago. A couple of rust spots have showed up but only recently.

A bit light weight, but functional and pretty.

The cutlery is thinner than I expected, but I guess that's what you get when you buy cheap stuff. One thing I was disappointed with was that all of the cutlery had slightly sharp edges near where the handle meets the head. Not enough to cut you, but you can definitely feel it - like a scratching sort of sensation. They will do for now, but next time I'm getting a higher quality set.
