I have been looking for this set for awhile now and have finally found them

I had a pair of these for years and I wanted to replace them. I could not, for the life of me, find similar ones anywhere. Everything is plastic or they have the hinge at the end of the tongs. This is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is good and they're not flimsy at all.

I bought these out of a whim. They're kinda flimsy. But wife uses them regularly at our dinner parties. She then bought even more!

I can't imagine them being any better. Perfect length, perfect weight, perfect thickness, perfect price. Everything about them is perfect for my needs. So glad that I recently saw them in a restaurant and decided immediately that I have to have the same. Three days later, I did!

Good grip and size. For a single person it's too bad I had to buy so many.

I have a pair of tings I love from years ago, I have been looking for another pair like these. All other tongs do not have as good a grip on food. These tongs are the same shape as my old tongs but they are longer and flimsier. They work but not as good as my old tongs

Many years ago a BBQ restaurant catered food for a party at my house and left behind the serving tongs that have now all been lost over the years. So I went in search of new tongs and found the New Star Foodservice 42269 Restaurant-Grade Pom Tongs on Amazon. These tongs are even better then the ones that were left to me buy the caterer many years ago. They are a little shinier, and more sturdy. They are exactly the right length and the tips are the exactly the right length apart to capture the food without hurting my hand. They are not too difficult to close with your hand and they are sturdy enough so that the tips close evenly together and do not get pushed off-kilter.

I have one simple metal tong like these and it always seems to be dirty and in the dishwasher. I have larger metal tongs and smaller ones with silicon tips. The large ones are sometimes too awkward and the silicon ones lack strength at the tip.So when I found these, I ordered them immediately. The thin metal tips hold food tightly and are short enough to fit in tight places. Having 6 of them means I never run out of clean ones. Completely satisfied!
