Clean the power plug metal conductors before using
It didn't work at first. I checked the voltage on the power supply plug, and it was OK. Then I cleaned off the plug metal conductors and plugged it into the box again, and it worked fine! There are no instructions with the unit, however. Watching an online video is the way to learn about it. Quality of material and construction looks very good.

This is a great product. I have had a great deal of fun with it since taking it out of the box.

Watch out when plugged into the phone
It's great for house demonstrations to kids but when playing music and using your phone you have to turn on your source then Locker screen because what happens the Tesla coil electrified the cord. You're cell will take it as signals and something trying to tell it to do stuff. so if you don'k iock your screen it's going make stuff go Haywire and if you unplug from the phone and touch the end you'll get a very mild shock. If you know how a Tesla coil works this should not surprise you.
