Secured a 5lb weight to a scratching post
I used this to put a cheap 5lb weight on the bottom of my cat’s little cactus scratching post. He’s grown into this giant Siamese monster that stretches out to the size of a toddler and aggressively uses his scratching posts so the thing was always one accident away from him being traumatized into never using it again. I can heft this around by the post part and that weight isn’t ever going to fall off. Just glued it on and let it cure for 24-48hrs. It’s come in handy for other odd jobs around the house too. Will be keeping it on hand from now on.

What more can be said, keep those bolts and screws in until you want them to come out. Easy to use, just a dab and you are good to go. Another quality glue from Loctite.

Great —with reservations
Generally sticks to almost anything… which is good. But you need to be aware…. It will likely not be a neat bond. This stuff is like a thick goopy toothpaste…. So it is hard to get out of the tube, and hard to make an unnoticeable joint. Which is fine for construction… maybe not so fine around the house

This picture is 3 14” clay tiles glued together via a 1” strut glued to the back and then hung on the wall. Probably 10 pounds. This is the best glue I have ever used. It does stay brownish so if it will show, beware.

Works really good although not on my brick outside but could be cause its really cold out here. But did work on the outside door holds perfect

Naked, dented tube?!
The product, Loctite 4 oz construction glue came naked, not in plastic bubble backed by tag board with printed information as shown. The tube had multiple dents in it, one of which had a hardened bubble of glue. At least the tube was still sealed in the cap so I'll use it.

Fixed my shoe
My poor old Keen sport shoe strap became detached from between the footbed and sole. This product was recommended in a video I watched on how to repair the shoe so I ordered it. I followed application instructions, clamped the area and let dry for 24 hours. SHOE. IS. FIXED! I could have thrown them out, but they are so comfy I really didn’t want the hassle of shopping for new ones! So glad I tried the repair!
