This does exactly what it says it will do: give you smart home control of led strips without the need to buy a separate plug etc.Pros1. The controller is smaller than some others I've tried, making it easier to hide.2. Setup in Magic Home is easy. It's the Amazon app that's a bit of a pain in that it detects the default device name, the one you see while connecting the controller to the Magic Home app. Once renamed though it should filter through to the Alexa app (I had one that didn't which was a pain to sort out in the Alexa app).3. Leds are bright and the whole thing is very low power at a maximum of 24w on white light (I assume, since the transformer outputs 12v/2a)Cons1. The double sided tape isn't great when used on a wall though I find that an issue with any tape. Eventually the weight of the led strip will mean it unsticking. It's not a big deal and of course this will not be a problem for everyone.2. The remote is a small form factor remote with limited buttons but to be honest either you're going to set routines for Alexa or use the Magic Home app so giving you access to more colours. So this shouldn't be an issue3. This one isn't really a comment against the product if you know what you are getting. All leds on the strip will be one colour, there is no way to have different colours on leds to give that kind of rain/meteor affect. I only mention it because I have seen some people asking about this.Only other thing I don't like and this applies to all led strips I've ever bought is the stupid 4 pin connector that drops out with the slightest pull. To all led strip manufacturers, please let's have a better connector.I did have one of the 5 I've ordered turn up with a broken transformer and controller but the company selling these offered various solutions with the one I chose being resolved quickly.

Having seen a YouTube comparison of various affordable smart LED light strips, I decided on this product. Seeing the cheap price I was, in truth, a little skeptical about what the quality and functionality of this product would be.However, having used this product for a number of days, all I can say is that I am truly impressed. The setup was incredibly simple using the Magic Home app and the control you have over the lights from within the app is really very impressive.One of the main reasons I opted for this particular product was because of its promise of compatibility with Google Home. Once again, for such a cheap product especially, I was incredible impressed. After the easy setup within the Magic Home app, it was simply a matter of connecting my Magic Home account with my Google account and I was away. Being able to control this light strip (everything from turning it on and off, to dimming and brightening it, to changing the colour) using my Google Home Mini has been so unbelievable useful and I am beyond impressed with the sheer quality and functionality of this product.Overall, I cannot recommend this product enough. Of course, over the next few months I will be on the lookout for any problems I encounter and will update this review if need be, but my initial impressions of this product are hugely positive. If you are looking for a smart LED light strip with all the functionality of more expensive brands for a fraction of the cost, then look no further.

These lights are a proper bang for your buck, they work great and are easy to connect and the adhesive is surprisingly stronger than I expected. There are no problems when having one roll.However, when it comes to purchasing a second roll in order to extend the length of the strip, then two ends of the strip are male jacks. Thats the case for both rolls, both starting and ending with a male 4 Pin jack. This creates a problem when trying to connect the two as it is impossible to do so, as there is no female jack. The pack does come with a spare 4 pin adapter, which has no use if both ends of the strip are already male jacks. So i’m most likely going to have to purchase a female to female 4 pin connector in order to accomplish my goal so i’m not too sure.Overall, the lights themselves are fantastic, but the problem begins when trying to attach a second roll.

These lights are really easy to set up. You cut them with scissors where there is a mark on the strip so it's very easy to customise and the adhesive strip makes it super easy to attach to almost any surface. This was the 5ty set of these I've bought. I have them in my bedroom, kitchen and now my summerhouse. The remote is easy to use and once set up on the app it is super easy to use and it has great extra features like being alexa voice enabled or they will change colour and brightness in response to music by using your phones mic. If I need any led strips now I go out of my way to get these because they are a great

I'm very happy with this LED strip - very easy to set up, the instructions were clear and concise. I had it set up with my Alexa in under 5 minutes. The strip is a very good length and I have used it to light behind my TV (see picture). My TV is 58 inches and this strip went all the way round and then some. You can also cut the strip at any point along the dotted lines if you wish to make it shorter. You can also attach it to the power at either end, which makes the plug placement easy.It's get very bright and the brightness can be controlled via the app. the remote, or via aAexa voice commands. The strip is very sticky once the plastic is peeled off and can stick to most surfaces very securely. Extra adhesive is also provided in the box should you wish to ever move it - which is great also.Overall very happy with the LED strip - it was a good price and would recommend. I will likely purchase another one for more areas in my home.
