Not bad.. Not great
First thing to point out. I'm an electrician and I've fitted loads of these led strip kits from cheap Chinese versions to high end brands. I thought I would give these a go as an experiment. All in all, not bad. 1 thing to note, they are not self adhesive! 1st kit I've fitted yet that isn't. If you ask me they would massively benefit from that. I ended up using some double sided foam trim tape to make them self adhesive. I always use proper trim or clips to back up the self adhesive so it stays up if the glue fails but the self adhesive does help with the initial install. Brightness is good, I found that in a diffused trim these almost replicate the more expensive spot free versions. The waterproof coating is not stuck to the strip it is just a rectangular tube the strip fits in which makes for easy connections where the strip is cut but you will need some silicone or something to reseal the tube if you need it to be waterproof.Only 3 stars because I think the self adhesive should be added and the waterproof coating should be diffused to give a spot free look. As far as function for price.. Not bad at all. I would happily use again but I would definitely pay a bit more for the adhesive to be added...
