Bought a house in the country with a super neat electric tankless water heater. My husband and I were thrilled. Endless hot water? Freaking right! Few months after we got the place, the water stopped getting hot, the hot water pressure was crap. Being new home owners, we didn't know any better and went through a huge issue trying to find what was wrong.Opened up the water heater and it was gross! The rods weren't ever replaced and had so much build up on them that one of them twisted in half just taking it out.Bought these as a replacement and they were super easy to install and fixed our hot water issues with ease. I have used Camco brand items in my RV for many years.Out of the package they looked like quality parts. I found it odd that this item which is likely an RV replacement part would fit in my residential water heater. The Camco elements fit perfectly in my ECO 18. This means they will fit in the larger Eco models, some Rheem and others. I needed only one element but for the price I replaced both. So far so good . Plenty of hot water.

I purchased these to replace a burned out element in my Rheem 36kw tankless water heater. Fit perfectly and works great. It’s always good to have one or two in stock. Very hard water in our area tends to wear the factory elements out in around 5-6 months. Hoping these have a longer lifespan.
