Cheaply made and overpriced. I hate those sticky makeup kits from the dollar store, so I was pleased to find this one with compacted powder. One of the lipsticks was broken in the box. The white tray the makeup sits in is so flimsy that the makeup pops out continually. And child safe? Its made in China, which is conveniently missing from the listing, so I highly doubt.

I didn't actually see the case because the granddaughter I bought it for lives across country , however she was very happy with it, she's six, it was to go with her vanity.
