FurinnoTurn-N-Tube 5-Tier Multipurpose Shelf / Display Rack / Storage Shelf / Bookshelf, Round Tubes, French Oak Grey/Black

Having gotten back into the hobby of model making in the last few years I have found myself quickly running out of existing display space and after one too many glaring disapprovals from the wife every time I had to pull the old switcheroo and replace one of her photos or Knick Knacks with my latest completed project, I knew it was time for some additional shelves.I decided on the Furinno Turn-N-Tube 5-Tier Shelves based upon it seemingly to be a fairly decent size at a fairly reasonable price. In other words, it was cheap. It also seemed like it would be easy to put together, which if you are someone like me who is both mechanically uninclined and still bear the emotional scars of trying to put together one too many IKEA purchases with their hundreds of parts, keeping it simple stupid is the main goal in home furnishing decisions.This last point gives the product high marks on its own as it was a simple matter of placing the plastic tubes through the four corners of each shelf and hand screwing the one above it together, continuing this till all five shelves were erected. The entire process took all of 10 minutes and involved no utterance of salty language. If only everything in life could be this stress free. It probably could have easily been assembled in half the time had I not had to stop several times to pay attention to the cat who was fascinated by "The New Thing in The House" and also wanted me to hurry up so she could have the empty box it came in.As far as the quality, the shelves themselves seem fairly strong despite being kind of thin and the finish is passable. I'm not sure how much weight they will support, but I think it's safe to say I wouldn't trust it to hold one's bowling ball collection or for a dumbbell rack. Also, while it's relatively stable on its own, but still kind of wobbly for my total piece of mind. If one chooses not to use the optional wall anchor that comes with it, I could easily see a tchotchkes disaster in the making during an earthquake (not an issue where I live) or cats that like to seek the highest spot in the house to look down upon their human servants (a million times more likely for me). There is only one anchor included and I would recommend the purchase of at least one more and tying them to the wall at both ends.At a little over four and a half feet in height, even the topmost shelf is easy to reach for all but a small child, though the bottommost should probably be reserved for books or something like that as anything one wants to specifically show off, like your vast collection of Franklin Mint or Beanie Babies that are now worth less than when you purchased them, will not be very visible at floor level.Overall, it is a relatively good product for the price as long as you remember the saying of getting what you pay for. Though obviously not as good as a quality metal shelf or collectible hutch, but neither is it some flimsy contraption your kid made in shop class to complement the lamp that blew out your home wiring and almost caused a fire. It is squarely in the middle and should meet anyone's light display or storage needs. If there is any significant drawback, I've found is that even with the new shelves I am already running out of display space. Again. So is life.

Simple useful with one snag, hopefully just me. The join ers screwvtogether. Easy enough.They are made of two halves fused together. Again normal, fine. Two of mine the spue? Anyway the join had excessive material and the threaded section did not want to start. Easy fix my Swiss Army Executive 2" blade trimmed it easily. Just some have a light seam that folds you can ignore so a thicker one is a surprise. A paring knife would fix. Just if a round does not want to start do not force it. Look for excess at the join line.Other then that went fine. And a little bit of plastic did not matter. Only if it does not want to start easily.Other than that looks fine doing what I want it to do. Right price.

I have three of these shelves now. They fit in our small bedrooms, and are fairly sturdy for being inexpensive. Very easy to assemble. They list the weight limits, but we are just using it for miscellaneous items, not for books, so i don't know how much weight they hold. Overall a nice, decent shelf for the price.

I bought this item for its size and price and it was exactly what I needed. I used them to put inside an antique armoire for shelving. The quality is ok, a few chips/tears in the paper "wood" surface around a couple of holes and at one edge - does not detract from their usefulness and if they were going to show I'd fix them with magic marker. There were also some debris from the thread cutting on the uprights but I was able to just pick them off and they screwed together fine.I swapped the bottom and top pieces because I wanted to spread the weight across the entire floor of the armoire, and it gave me an inch or so more space at the top. It works fine. I also turned the top shelf upside down so from my angle it doesn't show that it is particle board.For the price they are an excellent value.

This sucker was super easy to assemble! I love the wood color and the legs/poles. At first when I realized the poles were plastic I was like..eeek but after putting it together I was so happy with the outcome! I’m 5’7 and you can see how tall the 5 shelf stand is. I got this for my Christmas villages. I ordered two corner stands as well and now I can’t wait!!!

Easy to assemble. The color is just perfect beside our entertainment center. The boards are wood but the cylinders are made out of plastic. It looks sturdy, although its hard for me to tell coz I only put plushies in it and they're light. Overall, very good for its price, came right on time and it just makes my plushies to display so beautifully.

Made this into a bar cart and it comfortably fits my wine glasses and bottles. It's small enough to fit just about anywhere but big enough to still be functional. More secure than I expected. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

This has held up since we bought it a couple months ago. We use this in our kitchen as “bar shelves” to store liquor. Granted these bottles aren’t light so it is holding up nicely, but you wouldn’t want to bump into it hard as it could topple over. If you’re not putting a ton of weight on it, this is a great purchase, and if you are, you may want to be careful about where the weight is throughout the shelves.

最初からちょっと傷があり、組み立てたらややぐらつきますが使えます！重量のあるものを乗せないなら問題なし！脚は写真の通りプラのパイプ切りっぱなしみたいな状態です。床に傷がついたり、ラグに跡がついたりするのが嫌な方は椅子やテーブル脚用の保護をアイテムご用意ください。

このタイプの商品は2回目の購入です。組み立てはクルクル回すだけ。不器用さんでも説明書無しでできるレベル。解体もサクサクできるから不要になった時も簡単に捨てられるところも良き。ただ、棚板は木なので湿度が高いお部屋に置くと速攻でカビると思います。見た目もチープ。スチールラックは嫌だけど、お値段抑えたい一人暮らしの家具とかにはピッタリです。
