Oajen2" Caster, Locking, Brake, Metric M8-1.25 x 20mm, Pack of 4

I replaced the feet on my gas fire pit with two Oajen 2" Caster, Locking, Brake casters, and two Oajen 2" Caster, non-locking casters. This allows me to easilt roll my firepit to the best position on my patio and lock it in place when I want to use it, then roll it and park it out of the way when I do not need it. The lock mechanisms work easily. However, these casters are plastic and I am using them outside. Not sure what rain and cold will do to them over time. We shall see.

I got this set to replace the feet of an outdoor patio firepit that sits on a concrete surface. At first it seems to work well - about 150 lbs distributed over 4 wheels (only 37.5-40 lbs / wheel caster). However, when I moved it around for a bit, all 4 started collapsing/bending at the base of the stems. The description didn't say anything about the capacity of these casters, but 40 lbs seem to be fairly manageable for light duty type casters. So I ended up ordering the larger 2 3/8" casters hoping that the capacity would be better. I will post a review on that set when I receive and install them.UPDATE: I got the larger casters, but found out that my firepit's legs were actually flimsy and its weight on the legs was too much for a non-flat caster and bent all 4 metal triangular bottoms where the stems attached. The casters actually held up, but one of the locking switches broke off while I was messing with it. So I'm changing the rating from 1 to 4 stars. It would be helpful if Amazon lists the weight capacity on this caster.

Installed 8 of these on our lanai cast aluminum couch ( a bit heavy), which now allows the couch to be easily maneuvered around the lanai, as well as moving it for storm weather storage with only one person.

I was looking for a desk with casters and could not find any to my liking. Found this “Z” frame desk. Perfect. Sturdy. Saw in the “questions” section the sellers said M8 casters could be used. Found these. Inadvertently ordered non locking. Returned and ordered locking and they are perfect. A great desk that now suits my needs because of these casters. Wow, what a savings over what both Sleep Number and OEM Leggett and Platt wanted for these threaded casters. Less than half of what Sleep Number wanted and nearly a third of what Leggett and Platt wanted. Now our bed is low enough to allow my disabled wife to get into and out of it easily.99% identical to both Sleep Number and Leggett and Platt threaded casters. Only difference is the tab design for locking the casters in place, thumb lift versus rocker design.

I put these casters on my longarm frame so I can move it myself.
