The media could not be loaded.  This is my first time ever owning an Ocarina. I read up and after watching plenty of videos detirmined Not to buy the LoZ replicas (they suck) and to go with this one. This is an extremely fun instrument to learn, an easy too. As of taking that video, i only have aroun 3 and a half hours of experience playing the ocarina, so i suggest anyone who wants something cheap and easy to learn to go with one of these. The song book included was rather helpful, it teaches you how to read sheet music and has a little song list, and a bunch of practice scales. The necklace included is very pretty, and feels like it'd hold up, but that is to be detirmined. It also has a nice carrying case. It's nothing special, almost shaped like a sort of gun holster, with a snap that opens and closes it, and it has a small carry loop at the top. My only complaint is that i wish the carrying case was more padded, other than that, as a first time ocarina, this thing is perfect

I had ordered this Ocarina to learn something new. I’ve always enjoyed the sound they make, and like most people born in the 80’s, I grew up with the Zelda games and loved ocarina of time.When my Ocarina arrived arrived I sanitized it carefully, and after it was cleaned I started learning. The sounds didn’t sound right, wouldn’t hold the note despite doing what videos showed to do. I ended up getting in contact with Aklot and they made things right, like they always do!Now I’m enjoying learning a new instrument and highly suggest this company. They always deliver a quality product at a quality price, and if there is ever an issue just reach out to their customer support. I’ve owned their Ukulele Bass, Ocarina, and Cajon instruments. Whenever I want to learn a new instrument I always check and see if they make it first.

While this product may need a lot of breath control, I can think of no better beginner instrument then this here little ocarina. It's nice, easy to hold, and comes with a book to teach you the fingerings.

I didn't realize how big the orcarina was I'm petite and my hands are small so it wasn't a good situation for my wrists issue injury

I am just starting out with the ocarina and this one is definitely the favorite one I own I have 5 lol and it plays well came in a nice carrying bag boxed up safe and sound.

So I picked this up cuz I wanted to learn something and didn’t want to only know how to play video games so I got this and it sounds okay I’ve learn a lot of songs but it just doesn’t sound like how it’s supposed to and no I’m not talking about only Zelda songs

I bought this because I sold my saxophone and I needed money but now,3 years later, I really want new sax but I'm saving up to buy the one I want. I decided to settle on an ocuraina for now , just to get some type of instrument back in my hands. I feel that, if you're used to an flute like instrument, it's easy to learn. The one I got is very pretty and is a great display item, too. So yeah I'm pretty happy with it.

It looks just like the photos. I don’t know how to play it yet but, I’m excited to learn. They packed it in a nice sturdy box. It comes with its own case and a strap to go around your neck so you don’t accidentally drop it. It also has a small song book with it. I’m very happy with it. I can definitely recommend it.

If you have never played ANY type of instrument before this is a good place to start. Fingering is similar to a recorder in that you need to lift one finger at a time get a new note in the scale. If you can not read music the holes are referred to by number as well , so playing a song is easy. This instrument is light and easy to hold, and a breeze to learn. Blowing is effortless, however , you do have to work a bit on getting a good note tone but that's just comes with practice. The quality is decent. I can not compare it to expensive ones as I have never had one but this ocarina is an excellent place to start and learn. This one is an ALTO , so make sure you get the type of sound you want as they do come in different scale ranges. Have fun.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this ocarina. I already play the ocarina and purchased this one as a cheap beginner ocarina for my younger brother. Like most ocarinas, you have to play it using rising breath pressure, meaning you blow harder on the high notes and softer on the low notes. On this ocarina, the only major changes in breath pressure are on the top three notes, C, D, and E, which require a sudden jump in breath pressure, and on the lowest three notes, C, B, and A (of which B and A you play by covering the subholes), and they require a very small, controlled amount of breathing, which may be difficult for a beginner. I would suggest using a piano or tuner to help you get to know how much breath pressure you should apply to each note for it to be in tune.Overall a nice relatively low breath pressure ocarina with a nice tone, is a bit airy on the highest notes but that doesn't bother me, fits very comfortably in your hand and doesn't have any rough edges; for the value this is great!

The ocarina I received was damaged - and when the seller found out, they jumped right in to fix everything for me. It was a wonderful, refreshing change, as many of the Marketplace sellers are quite impossible to deal with. The ocarina I received had chipped glaze on the mouthpiece - and that's not healthy. The seller and I have made arrangements, and I am very happy with it all. Order with confidence!!

Not a bad little ocarina. Bought to replace an awful little blue one that sounded bad.Top two notes don’t sound well but otherwise sounds good.A good size , holes not too big. I can hold and play it and so can my 8 year old.Having owned several ocarinas, this ones is our best 6 hole version.
