Works nicely!
We have used this for two seasons in our backyard pool and spa. It is very easy to use, lightweight, and does a good job on tiny particles and grit. It also does well along the edges of the spa bubble mat with the crevice attachment. The only complaint would be one has to move fairly slowly as not to disturb or displace particles in the path of suction. But, we take our time and get the job done relatively quickly for an 18' pool. We always clean the filters well after every use. It is important to affix these sleeves correctly, as per instructions, else it will not function properly or latch correctly. We appreciate it is rechargeable easily.

On my second one, but . . .
I purchased one of these a few years ago. It works well with my Intex 15ft X 48in Metal Frame Above Ground Pool. The battery life easily lasts a single use and it does a good job of pulling in debris. I much prefer using this vacuum over options that use your pool's pump, because (1) There are no hoses to mess around with, get in your way, or get holes in, and (2) It pulls in more debris. I don't know if that's because it has more suction, or just because it works better overall. The problem with this vacuum is that it seems to die easily. I bought one two years ago, used it for a single season, then let it sit a season because we didn't put the pool up. When bringing it back out again it worked one time and then died (shows it's charged but it won't turn on). Since it only has a one-year warranty, it meant I had to buy a new one. It's still cheaper than other options and I liked it when it worked, so decided to give it another try simply because it makes cleaning the bottom of my pool easier.I also use the Hydrus Cordless Pool Vacuum (ASIN: B0BCKQLVF5), which works great for larger stuff, but I find I still need to use a manual vacuum to get the more fine buildup. This INTEX 28620EP Handheld Pool Vacuum does the job well.Note: it charges via USB cable but does not come with a wall plug. So you'll need one of those, too, if you don't already have one.

Another Great Intex Product
I have the 18ft Intex above ground pool, and this puppy along with the auto sweeper vacuum they make and the pool skimmer add-on keeps the pool clean. The micro-filter is kind of useless for the large pool as it diminishes sucking power a bit and takes time to dismantle clean and re-pack (probably good for the goo in spas though). The standard filter was able to hold onto enough to get great cleaning without having to stop every 1 minute to clean out the fabric micro filter, so even less reason to use the microfilter unless you are doing some real fine cleaning. The filter is small (about the size of a 10 oz tumbler) so if you have a good amount of algae or lots of gunk, the filter will clog pretty quickly, but this was exactly what i needed to spot-clean where the auto-sweeper could not get to and it has just the right amount of suction to get the job done, and it is really easy to rinse and get back to it so the small filter is not a real problem. It will kick up stuff into the water column either from the movement of the pump body itself or the agitation of the bristles on the head as it is moved around, so make sure to keep the pump filter for the pool going if possible (or turn it on when you are done). If you have an Intex pool, you cannot go wrong with this item. It works well and my pool looks spotless now. I would suggest also looking into the pool surface skimmer (Intex 28000E) which helps keep stuff from sinking to the bottom by skimming it from the top in a great fashion. I also have their lower end vacuum hooked up to the pump and moving around while I use this wireless vacuum to spot clean (and it gets a lot of the gunk i kick up when moving the pole around) which is Intex # 28001E or you can upgrade to the beefier one (28005E). I don't have the beefier cleaner...but when it is time to replace my current one I am planning on stepping up to this scrubber one. Getting these extras has helped to keep this pool in pristine condition all year round and I have not yet been lead astray by the Intex products...they work as described and are sturdy.
