Bought this pad to increase car seat height as I am 4'11" and couldn't see past rear side mirrors as they were in my line of sight both right and left sides. Could see ok through front windshield but feels better as now the sun visor helps block sun where before I was to short for visor effectiveness. Also now side vision past mirrors is great. Used another pad from auto store but never gave me the height and mostly sank down with me. This odeer car seat pad is solid, gives me an added 3", and doesn't sink down at all but is comfortable with contouring.
