"Kurtuguz" Vargan with Aztec Case

Fantastic jew's harp / vargan! This is a great way to get a quality harp, made by the venerable Glazyrin, without spending upwards of $100+. It might not be best for a beginner, as the reed is a little stiff, and steel isn't as forgiving on your teeth if you're not holding it properly and allowing it to vibrate or pull away while playing. If you're just starting out, SKIP THE SNOOPY HARP, and get a Pavel Potkin. It's a bit cheaper than this one--and a bit more expensive than the Snoopy harp--but it's forgiving for beginners, the brass is softer, and the reed is thinner and easier to play.Good mid-range sound and decent sustain. These are basically handmade (not straight off a machine), and you can trust Oberton Pro (the seller) to not send you junk or defective product. I've ordered from them several times now, both through Amazon and direct. From Russia with love!Whatever you do, please don't get a cheap jew's harp: you'll just be disappointed and discouraged from giving jawharping a decent shot because you won't get good sound out of it. Potkin models can be found cheap sometimes, but in general you should just expect a harp worth buying to be at least roughly $20. The Snoopy/Grover/Alto Austrian ones aren't worth your time. They're toys.

Great Quality as a beginner ive loved it so far

The harp sounds okay, but the grip area is very small, hard to hold. But the huge problem is that they include antisemitic text and cartoons in their packaging! Unbelievable! Like, Amazon, why is this being allowed to continue? Other reviewers have confirmed. Cartoon characterizes Jews as bugs and implies that the harp sound will draw them out (so they can be killed). Disgusting. Do not buy from this brand.

Diese Maultrommel sieht nicht nur wahnsinnig gut aus, sondern hat auch noch diese super-coole Holzhülle mit dabei. Diese habe ich ein wenig modifiziert, da ich sie sowieso nie als Kette tragen würde. Also habe ich die Schnur mit einem Haargummi ersetzt. Jetzt sitzt die Maultrommel sehr sicher.Zum Klang muss man nicht viel sagen, außer dass er extrem gut ist und vor allem laut.Ist meine erste Maultrommel und wird meine letzte sein!
