Decor Grates WL614R-N 6-Inch by 14-Inch Wood Return Air, Natural Oak

These stainable oak grates (vent covers) were just what was needed to compliment the new oak flooring that was put down. They are now in every room where new floorng was installed, plus the existing bathroom and dining room floor. Looks gorgeous!

Installed these in my mother in law's bifold doors for her laundry to provide some ventilation. Stained them to match the doors. Worked great.

I read a lot of reviews on other wood return air grates and decided to buy this one. It's perfect for it's intended purpose and we added a quick clear coat for protection before install and it matches our natural red oak vintage wood floor perfectly.

They are nicely made but do require some easy finishing. The only problem I ran into was the wall fastening holes come pre drilled. They did not line up with the holes on the vent plates that I removed. This caused extra drilling and monkeying around. It would have been better to not have the holes pre drilled and easily drill them yourself to match the removed vent plates

We stained our vent and it matches perfectly. We couldn’t find one at the box stores. Great price for the quality.

It's exactly what I expected. It allowed me to stain the register to match the rest of the trim in the room. Just seems a little pricey for what it is.

I have no idea how they make these. It's perfect. It would take me all day to make one and I'm a wood worker. It's made out of red oak. I only used gloss polyurethane and it exploded with color. I highly recommend this.

Just put it in and it looks great!!!
