A decent budget ceramic coating
Not anywhere close to an expert in ceramic coats so keep that in mind. I wanted to give a product like this a try. Didn't want to spend a fortune on professional grade, but also didn't want to buy the cheapest. This seemed like a good budget option. So far it hasn't disappointed. A little does go a long way. I imagine I will run out of the soft tissues it comes with before going through even three quarters of the bottle. I use this for coating things around the house, not just vehicles. It does create a hydrophobic surface, resist fingerprints, and make surfaces slightly more slippery. It does have an odor when applying but that goes away.

Applicator was crap/product easy to use
Bought a new Tesla, brought it home and put this on. Applicator pad fell apart midway thru and then used a microfiber applicator pad which was awesome. Went on so smoothly after using that. I would recommend throwing away the pad that comes with this and using a fresh microfiber applicator pad. Made the car look amazing. Crossing my fingers it holds up after this winter….

Its so cheap, buy 2! 3x coat it and live forever!
My roommate spent $100 on the "top brand"I spent ½ on 2x of this generic stuff. My roommate has to wash/buff off dirt/grim each couple weeksI just microfiber and maybe use water if there's grim.I may that using some spray ceramic like others say, but I think they only did one coat. This stuff sticks in microscopic grooves... It makes sense id need a few coats to get it evenMy coat times: Coat 1 (3-4hours) Coat 2 (12-24 hours) Coat 3I did it outside in the shade of a carwash in the morning, you need ventilation cuz this stuff is strong, but not too much cuz it drys fast.I applied a more generous amount to my applicator than the instructions advised but it still took forever, I would get better applicator sponge next time, maybe bigger and do the whole hood in a few swipes, lol.Anyways, much easier than waxing, cheaper, and if you prep your car like the chemical bros would, you're golden!

Great value, but can't compare to semi-professional products from name brands.
I've installed half a dozen ceramic coatings on various cars (ranging from new Mercedes to old Hyundai cars) and each one behaves similarly yet has obvious differences. This particular product is great for a low-effort and last-minute fix to plastics or wheels but it isn't as durable as the semi-professional products (which given the price makes sense.)It's hydrophobic and deepens the shine of paint, but it doesn't offer the same kind of protection as a better product. In my opinion it makes sense as a simple product with low expectations, but it isn't a replacement for the nicer products that are offered in the $80+ range. Also, please PLEASE wear a mask. Compared to other products this has a lot more volatile compounds that burn your lungs. The quality of materials is significantly lower, so beware--it's BAD for you.

Amazing how well this worked considering the price
I'd like to start by saying I've tried 4 different ceramic products and out of those this one was likely the best value and easiest to use. The thing is if you don't follow the directions it's easy to mess things up and then you will spend a long time trying to remove it with something like alcohol which is the only way to really remove this stuff once it's cured but I didn't learn that due to this stuff but rather a competing product which likely was very similar to this I just didn't follow the directions so I think it's safe to say this would likely do the same except with this I followed the directions well so my results were much better. Make sure after you apply that you go back over it all with a microfiber and buff it well before it fully dries and cures this way you even out the coating as well as possibly can that is where I made mistakes I applied the other product and didn't even it out and had high spots all over the place and had to remove everything just about but aside from that it's actually super easy to use these coatings and they work so damn well. I also tried the turtle wax ceramic line both in paste wax form and liquid wax form and whole those products do work well they are harder to apply and don't work as well as these actual coating products. The turtle wax products might be better used as a topper product or something you use on top of these ceramic coatings to boast the hydrophobic nature and make the coatings last longer. That being said I definitely would recommend this product to anyone just know what your getting into and know how to properly install this stuff by watching some videos first. It's important to also clean the car well and remove all wax prior to application.
