Developing was super easy! It's been 35 years and I got great images the first try.
I have not processed film in 35 years. I've been using it so rarely that I just send it off. I've been restoring old camera lately and using more film than I used to so I decided to try my hand at developing them myself again.1. Using a dark bag is not for me lol. I'm using my dark room/storage closet next time. No windows and the door is sealed tight. Zero light and it's insulated.2. I was trying to load 120 film onto the reel an it kept coming out of the track. It took me almost an hour to get it loaded. Now this was the first time I've ever done 120 film so that was half the problem. Using a dark bag was the other half of the problem. There is no room to fully unwind the film and keep it from winding back up too tight. Once it was a lot looser it got easier, but that was after I got a lot of sweat and oil from my skin on it. That was all my own fault and nothing to do with this kit.3. Once loaded onto the reel, everything went smooth. Mixing, soaking and agitating went fine. My pictures turned out great! This is a great starter pack! One thing I did research first was water. Everyone said use distilled water, but I have a well maintained 5 stage RO/DI system. That is actually better than distilled and will work with developing film. I keep extra bottles around so I just filled them with RO/DI water and let them get to room temp for a day.

Very Complete kit!
Used it this weekend, as it had been ages since I last developed film at home. VERY satisfied with the kit contents... highly recommended!

A great way to start developing film
This is a great way to start developing your own film. It has everything you need except for a changing bag. The thermometer isn’t very good, so I bought a better one, but this kit has enough to get started.

Almost Everything You Need
This is a great little kit at a very reasonable price. Add a good quality changing bag (such as Patterson's) and you can easily develop some film!

Good developing starter kit
I haven't developed my own B&W film in years and wanted to get back into it. My equipment has become scattered over the years, so this is a good collection of introductory equipment. It has sufficient chemicals to process the two rolls of film the tank will hold. It has a "swizzle stick" for mixing chemicals in the three beakers and a bottle cap/film cannister opener. I was disappointed in the thermometer, though. It's understandably a very narrow temperature range, but being on the back of an Amazon truck in the summertime didn't do it any favors. Liquid and bubbles go from the reservoir to the top of the thermometer and I can't get them to normalize. I ended up buying a cheap kitchen probe thermometer for about $10.Do I really want to get serious, now, and retrieve the enlarger from the attic, or just buy one of those Kodak cardboard film scanners to use with my cell camera?

For starters, great way to begin since all you need is here.
I just wish there where a little more chemicals included. Lets say, enough for 10 rolls. Not 2 like it seems to cover.

Got basic film developing materials
Got all the basic materials to develop your own film. Only downside is that you have to guess how long to develop film for and not too sure if the liquids are reusable or not for more than two rolls of monochrome film. It turned out great though!
