After a long for bike ride, I remembered why I used to ride in padded shorts. These were affordable, fit well and did not ride down, and the padding helped. Quick shipping too.

I wore these shorts five times. As with all my bike shorts followed the wash instructions meticulously. For starters, the elastic on the legs is stretched at least half an inch and now the shorts sag. The chamois is inaccurately described because it is actually a poor quality artificial pad. Since these cost twice as much as shorts I normally buy from Amazon, there's no way I would buy these again.

I looked at these as I opened the little package and thought "Pearl Azumi sent the wrong item, are these socks?" actually no, these are the 80 dollar bike pants I ordered. Much flimsier than the last 2 pair that I have used of that brand. They were not comfortable for the few seconds I tried them on. So I sent them back and ordered Louis Garneau CbCarbon 2 shorts. In all fairness, the Pearl Azumi's may have worked out but I was worried about getting stuck with another pair that I hate and can't return cause I used them plus the Carbon 2's are double the money so I pray they are as comfortable as my old Pearl Azumi shorts that I love.

Have bought these several times. Design has been “upgraded” over the years and fit is not quite as good as it used to be but still better than cheap shorts.

I have always liked Pearl Izumi clothing and I have a lot of it in my closet. It is good quality and well made. The shorts I have had for 30+ years are still better than these shorts. I tried three different sizes and they were too big in one place or too small in another place. The size chart said I wore a small but I couldn’t pull them over my hips. Amazon said I needed a large but they were way too big. Then I tried a medium and the hips fit fine but the waist was huge and loose. The fabric is thin and the padding is stiff and bulky. I did not keep any of the shorts I tried and have not purchased a new pair. I don’t think the price is reasonable but that is today's economy.

Comfortable fit with the 8 panel 20% Spandex stretch, 10” leg length to the top of my knee.

die Passform ist wie immer exzellent. Da hat sich zum 30 Jahre alten Vorgänger nichts geändert, das können die einfach. Nicht so berauschend finde ich das doch sehr rudimentäre Sitzpolster. Für Touren über zwei Stunden würde ich eine andere Hose mit dickerem Sitzpolster empfehlen.
