WARNING - Not durable after less than one year.
I installed this in my laundry room just less than a year ago. Tonight, the "Heavy duty brass construction for durability" of the splitter failed miserably. The not so durable brass construction corroded and caused major flooding in my laundry room (connected to my kitchen). In the photograph, you can see where the stem of the splitter broke off from the faucet.Luckily, I was home at the time and shut the water off. There had to be about 5-gallons of water spread across the tile floor. It could have been far worst if I wasn't there to shut it off. Please take note of this warning for those who are potentially looking at this item for purchase. I recommend checking out another brand with better "Heavy duty brass construction for durability."

Not Impressed
Been using the brass with plastic knob version for about 15 years now. Had to replace it a couple of years ago because I failed to drain water from it during a hard winter freeze, and once the water trapped inside turned to ice it pushed itself off of the faucet. Did it again this winter - jeez when will I ever learn. Anyway...Paid extra for this "all brass" version. Have two complaints...1). A couple of the brass knobs wobbled and had to be tightened.2). It doesn't have the same mounting slot as the other two units did for helping secure the weight of the unit. Instead it totally depends on the strength of the faucet and water pipe to support the weight. Add the weight of 4 hoses plus the device and I start worrying that the solder on the main water pipe will hold the faucet on.They used to come with the support bracket and mounting bolts... miss that.

Valves drip a lot, hard to open & close. *(but AMAZON issued a refund in less than 24 HOURS!!) Thanks AMAZON :-)
I bought this last spring for running a watering timer and 2 hose connections. Worked fine, seemed well built, but thru the year I noticed the little shutoffs didn't entirely shut off the water from the ends that had nothing attached... as time went by these dripped more and more. I tried moving the shutoff levers back and forth, sometimes that would stop the drip but not for long. This year as I hooked everything back up I see that 2 are dripping quite steadily when supposedly shut off. Also the levers can be very hard to turn at times; so with the pools of water on my patio under this fixture and difficulty turning on & off I'm going to try for the refund, says "3 year guarantee" se we'll see.***UPDATE*** Wow, I asked to return this connector last night, this morning I got an email reply that a full refund has been made, no hassles, no returning the faulty unit, just an apology and swift refund; THIS IS WHY I SHOP ON AMAZON!!! Happy customer here!

Junk
What a piece of junk. First of all, the male ends are not molded on to the rest of the unit but are placed on with what appears to be rubber grommets. Any amount of pressure to screw on the hose causes them to turn and the hose end cannot be tightened. Secondly, on first use, one of the valves failed upon turning on the water. Now the whole piece is useless as the valve cannot be turned off. I didn't try the other valves as the failure of that one in the on position rendered the whole unit unusable leaving me with a $15 paperweight.

Ball valves do not completely close. Leaks.
I purchased two. Both leak at the ball valve. You can even see the gap where it doesn't not close all the way and there is no more room to turn the "off" switch. It is fully "engaged". This was a splitter for my hoses that are on a timer "on" 24/7. I can't have something that leaks. Waste of water. Cheaply made IMO. : /

You had ONE job...
I bought the first pair of the 4-manifold brass version; 2 of the 4 shut-off ports leaked (not a slow drip, but a modest spray). I figured maybe just a bad batch, so swapped them out for another 2 of the same type. Hooked them up to the spigot, and again, each replacement had at least one leaking shut-off port; these were both a moderate drip. 4 out of 4 junk; 100% failure. Returned for refund. Unacceptable build quality.Side notes; even if these didn't leak (the only thing they're not supposed to do), the on/off valves are so tight in the bore, that you hurt your fingers opening/closing the valves. I can tell they use impact tools to assemble the threaded ends over the ball sockets, because the brass is deformed inside each Allen socket; each manifold valve was a completely different torque. The o-rings under these were very dry; not quite cracking, but had never seen a drop of lubrication (partially shredded, too). Definitely not machine assembled, but rather by the lowest skill level. I each of the sockets that leaked, you could plainly see that they didn't fully close. Obviously no QC whatsoever before shipping. Not gonna give them another shot. I'm stunned the reviews are as good as they are on Amazon, which is largely what I used to decide on these in the first place. Keep shopping...

I bought two of these - and they both failed ...
I bought two of these - and they both failed. I purchased it because of its' all-brass construction, believing this would make it more robust. The problem, though, is in its' design. The whole shebang relies on a thin brass washer holding the inlet to the manifold body. This washer is approximately 3/32" thick, and also made of brass. The problem is that brass is a relatively soft metal, especially when it's this thin and busted within 3 months of use on both units I purchased. It should be noted that I only had two hoses hooked to these, so it definitely wasn't the load. Keep looking...
