Great little Jump Pack for Standard applications
Decided to give this little bugger a real good test before i left this review.First and foremost, is it worth it? For MOST applications yes. (see details below). I feel this is adequate enough for Most modern cars and trucks with gas engines of the V6 variety or less. You could Jump a V8 motor if the battery was not stone dead. I would go with the larger sized version for reliable v8 or large American diesel jump starting. The unit itself is decently built. I would have preferred an aluminum housing as the nature of my use may a bit rough for a plastic housing BUT it doesn't feel flimsy and cheap so there's a bonus. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the wiring for the connectors and the clamps were lighter than i would have preferred as well as no carry bag or charger to store and charge the unit.I have tested the unit on the following, in order.8700 KW Generator - Stone dead battery - worked Perfect2000 Honda CRV - Stone dead battery - worked perfect2004 Honda Accord v6 - Stone dead battery - worked Perfect2013 Jeep wrangler v6, Enough battery to turn the lights on but not enough to turn over the motor - Worked perfect2014 Ford 150 v8 - Stone dead battery left in parking lot overnight - Worked but struggled a bit2006 Ford f350 V8 6.0 diesel - dual battery set up, Tested in following configurationsWould not start (but turned over just not fast enough) on one battery - added jumper and it started1 bad battery + jumper - Would not spin fast enough1 bad battery + 1 Good battery + Jumper - StartedGarden tractor - worked perfect1987 Mercury 150 HP outboard - worked perfect???? Chevy nova with dead battery v8 - Slow crank no startAll testes were performed with a fully charged packAll in all, a good jumpstarter for normal use. Id go with thier larger size if you need to cold start a big American diesel.

Perfect to jump old '98 civic
My husband has his '98 Civic still and it's not the most reliable car anymore. We lovingly refer to it as the spider-mobile because spiders love to make webs INSIDE the car. Needless to say, I do not drive that thing. It stopped turning on a little while back and while it might be just needing a new battery, we didn't have the ability to take it to a shop during the pandemic so we bought this instead. It worked absolutely perfectly! We charged it overnight just to make sure it was fully charged and my husband used it to jump his car the next day. He drove it around for 30 minutes or so and then the next day it started again. It also seemed like the jump he did didn't really drain much of the charge to the jump kit so we put it in the car for emergencies if it doesn't start once we're out somewhere. We haven't used it to charge anything else, but I love the fact it has USB ports in case there's a power outage so we can charge our phones.I would highly recommend this jump kit!

Seems to be a solid unit
Received in a timely manner so that is great.Upon opening the box I noticed a very nicely packaged jump starter. I opened that and inspected the jump starter itself. It seemed well built. It doesn't feel cheap in the hands. Fit, finish and looks, I'm pleased.Features: It has a compass on it which worked fine, it's just not something that's useful to me in the time of technology. But I suppose if my truck dies and I have to walk through the woods to get somewhere it would come in handy. It also has a metal piece on the bottom for busting windows. This could come in handy, but I have a window breaker in the glove box that will be more readily available than this. But nonetheless, it's a good thing to have. I don't have a window to bust with it, but the next time I do an auto extrication class I'll bring it and test it out and update my review. The real reason we bought it. Does it jump cars. Well I put a low charge battery in my riding lawn mower and I tried this out. It worked. Of course I had a little bit of charge on the battery, but this still gave it enough juice to start up. If I get the opportunity to use this on a full size vehicle, I will also update my review. But it seems like it would do the job. I like that the cords aren't permanently attached to the unit. That way it makes it easier to store. So I think that the unit will jump a car and I like that I can use it to charge my phone when I'm on a camping or hunting trip.

Easy to store
My son was complaining that his car battery seems to be on it's way out so I picked this up last minute to add to his Christmas gifts. Good thing I did because he has already had to use it! He said it was very easy to use and started his small car right up. The one jump did not completely drain the unit either. The clamps stay on the bolts nice and tight and once done, it is easy to store under his passenger seat. It is a nice compact design and eliminates the need to store long cables and ask a stranger for help. He also likes that it can be used to charge his phone if needed. Now that he's tried it, he is going to order one for his girlfriend also, to provide peace of mind for both of them when she is traveling at night.

Great compact and portable battery jumpstart kit
This item has truly been a great investment not only is is small compact but works well. I work in a hospitality setting and this has helped with clientel who have vehicle issues not starting .Its small fits under the seat and not heavy or bulky. I keep this in my Jeep just in case someone needs help. No longer needing to have jumper cables you just put on the terminals using terminal clamps on pos and negative, turn on and wait about 3 minutes and turn the key to car. I live in a warm climate Texas so may very in colder weather for charge time.Over all great product and even getting another for my wife's car she set it up and help a friend at the mall.Great item , great price not sure if enough for glow plugs but they do make a bigger unit for that as well... I do recommend this item and will back this. Thank you and hope this helps you decide. Rj Long
