Like most people in their 60s I had a blast with this all the friends came over and enjoyed it. Lights up the room, set the atmosphere perfect for older people who enjoy acting like a bunch of kids.

Let me first state that this was bought to entertain our cat. He used to love to watch the yellow flashing lights on school buses, the garbage trucks, headlights bouncing off other houses at night. He LIVED for flashing lights. Christmas time was LIT for this cat.SO - we move to avery remote and rural area. No school buses. No garbage trucks within sight of the house. No headlights bouncing anywhere from where the cat might see.He was depressed, I tell ya. DEPRESSED!So we bought him this and a few other light-type pieces that we thought might entertain him.Meh. We are underwhelmed. But Noodle (our cat) is pretty cool with it. He seems to stalk just the blue-violet light as it goes around the room. He tears crap up chasing it.So - Noodle The Cat is happy. But - if were buying this for a human party?Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm. No. Just - NO. N-O.If the ball went any slower it would be going backwards. My grandma with her walker was a speed demon compared to the miserably slow rotation of the balls. The ball is about the size of an orange, by the way.If I were grading this only on the entertainment value for a party, I would say it was as effective to induce some spontaneous Saturday Night Fever dancing, as a screen door is effective in keeping a submarine dry; in other words, it's useless.But, hey, Noodle is happy. And that is really all I care about.

Overall, the Disco light works and served its purpose for a themed party. It could be better quality, but you get what you pay for.

I barely use it because I dont have lot of space so it stays on top of the fridge and it's easy for it to break. But it looks good and it works good.

Had one of these for years bought elsewhere and enjoyed it until a fall broke it. Bought a new one from Amazon and the disco ball was a little off center and the motor made noise. Sent it back for replacement and it also makes noise but at least the ball is centered on this one. If you are using with loud music the motor noise won't bother you as much. If you want to use sometimes without music playing the motor noise is annoying.

Not a club item but DEFINITELY something that brightens your day and the atmosphere at that home graduation or New Year party... Found this accidentally while looking for some LED lights.. At the price it was advertised, I gave it a try - impulse buy. Could not have been happier. It is sturdy enough and it can be mounted in any position - hanging from the ceiling, on a table top or even hanging on a wall. The light and effects are not very strong so it will not cover a large area but if you use it in a smaller residence, it is enough. It is a gimmick that every-one looks at. Lately, it became the permanent fixture in our RV and brings happiness to the entire campground when the speakers start moving. I definitely recommend this item for hours of fun...
