The Skateboard of the Future This Galaxy Freerider X8 is the skateboard of the future. The unit consists of two 9 inch hub-less wheels that are connected together by an articulated axle bar. This allows each wheel to move independently but remain linked together which gives the X8 Freerider the needed flexibility to be propelled along by the twisting motion of your body and feet. Like a skateboard it rolls along on any flat surface but unlike a skateboard you don't stand on top of the board but instead step onto the two platforms mounted in the centre of each hub-less wheel. Rather than pushing yourself along like on a skateboard the Freerider X8 is propelled along by a unique twisting motion. As you turn your foot inwards and outwards your body will follow and the wheels will transform this lateral movement into forward propulsion so like a snake twisting along the ground you will glide forward. When you have finished riding the Freerider X8 it folds up into a compact form making it way to transport or store away. Made from a tough aluminum alloy and with durable polyurethane wheels the Freerider X8 has a maximum load of 100kg and is suitable for anyone aged 13 or upwards.
