Great as long as the pet will eat them
Updating again, now 5 stars. We have used these for baby bearded dragons, by hand feeding them to the beardies to get them to switch from live food. It depends on the beardie how long that takes. Even the one we thought would never switch did finally! The growth actually took off after switching. The pros of this over live food are many:Live crickets can carry salmonella, parasites, and can bite.Growth rates improved with the canned crickets. The tiny size crickets in these cans are fairly consistent(previous update) - We have been buying these off and on for more than 2 years. The size is perfect for baby bearded dragons. And, we have been able to get them to eat these. But, unlike in previous instances, after eating these, only one took to them well, the other has to be "convinced" and then won't eat anything they are associated with. The small size is perfect. The trick with feeding bearded dragons is not to get anything too large, or it can harm them depending. So, we stick with these small ones in the can for canned crickets. We are going to try some other canned products. But, for now, we've been through 6 cans, with the same issues with all of them. Unless I can use them regularly, they don't solve the problem fully. So, reducing my rating to 4 stars. They are worth a try for anyone looking for a work around for live crickets or dubia roaches to feed baby bearded and grown bearded dragons.

It's crickets. In a can.
They are crickets, they may smell but they are wet dead bugs so what can you do. My bearded dragon loves them and they last on the shelf for emergency back up when I don't get my buy shipment on time. Make sure you do refrigerate them after you open them or they go bad fast. All in all, they have been a lifesaver for back up food.

Beardie Loves
One of the can's lids were broken and there was a dent in one of them. But my beardie loves them so I can't complain too much.

These taste great!
These things are delicious either sprinked on cereal or mixed into a tasty beverage. However, I save them for our Bearded Dragons, who seem to enjoy eating them plain. I don't enjoy them that way myself, but I guess that's one of the many reasons why we have different words for "lizard" and "human." Agree to disagree, I guess.

Good to feed a leopard gecko
These crickets are good but tend to be more smashed up than I’d like them to be; makes it difficult to feed to my leopard gecko. Not bad, just not my favorite.

My hedgehog loves them!
Live crickets are not an option in my home, and this is the next best for my hedgehog. He loves them! Hard for me to personally comment on the smell and taste - but my boy wakes up out of a sound sleep to eat them.
