Replacement for Liftmaster 41c4220a Gear and Sprocket Kit fits Chamberlain, Sears, Craftsman 1/3 and 1/2 HP Chain Drive Models

Take the time and watch a couple YouTube videos on this. In case you don’t, make sure your garage door spring is 100% and/or the door is “balanced”.Someone mentioned needing proper tools. You’ll need a (5/16”) wrench or ratchet for the far flange screw—a driver can reach the other two, a Phillips for the cover screws and std screwdriver for adjusting the limits, tape to mark the existing limits on the track bar and the kit has everything else.I tried to tap the bottom bushing out with the hammer and it was so froze in the chassis, I decided to not change it out. There was also minimal play with the new shaft installed. While I was testing fit-up, I didn’t notice any play between the worm gear and the sprocket shaft gear so I decided to keep the old one in place as well.Labor: Changing only the sprocket assembly, cleaning off old grease and readjusting the limit switches took 2.5hrs at a leisurely pace. This disassemble/reassemble from forgetting things. Measure thrice, cut once.*the bushing/shaft part of the assembly came dry to I had to take the e-clip off to get some lube between the shaft and bushing.

Surprisingly easy to install and worked great.

This part was an exact copy of what I had and was easy to replace. he whole assembled part much easier to replace than having to take off the damaged part, disassemble the damaged part, replace the damaged part reassemble the rest of the part and re-install the repaired part. The difference in price was well worth the difference and made your added time worth about ten cents an hour! Be aware that one needs to re calibrate the travel limits before attempting to operate the repaired opener.

Absolutely amazing as long as you have the correct tools to take your Chamberlain cover off as well as once inside the unit, the space is tight and depending on the size of your hands, it may be a bit tricky. Take your time and ladies have your flashlight and step stool, and like me I watched a few YouTube videos to get it right.

Perfect fit and use for my 22 year old Craftsman garage door opener. This part has been in place now for 2 months without a single issue. Will this part last 22 years? I doubt it, but it's cheap enough and way cheaper and easier to install than a new opener. Time will tell, but for now it's been working perfectly. My old one wore out the bushing on top as seen in most images. Maybe some 3 in 1 oil or similar will keep it in good order...

Llame a los que repaean puertas y me vendían la pieza en 1600 más la instalación, pensé por un momento mejor comprar otro motor, pero con unos tutoriales y paciencia se pudo resolver y el motor sigue como nuevo.
