I bought this decal for a long hallway and it fits perfect. After first reading all of the ratings I was expecting some issues with the decal sticking to my wall. It definitely does not have adequate adhesive so you must be prepared with an alternative. I highly recommend two people for this job especially for the larger pcs that tended to bend, fold and twist as I was trying to apply them to a very precise place on the wall. I first very gently stuck the decal to my wall without pressing it on any more than I had to. Once the entire decal was assembled I was very glad that I did that because I moved things around until I had the whole picture perfect. I then went back and pressed it to the wall but it was only a short time before they started lifting. I used Elmers glue and put a very light coat on the areas that were lifting up and it worked perfectly. I also recommend that you do not use the picture frames that come with the decal, they are cheap looking and take away from the beauty of the finished wall. I bought eight frames at the dollar store that were perfect. It is important that you have whatever frames you intend to use with you when hanging the decal so that you can apply the decal with the correct sized spaces for them. I love this item and would highly recommend it.

This item is really wonderful. I received it FAST and it is exactly as described. The size might be a little smaller than 6 ft. high and 8 ft wide, but not by much. The decal comes in numerous parts and they are all of a good size for easy installation. They fit together perfectly and really look fantastic! I used the guide that comes included in the package for placement of the pieces, but if you wanted to, you could easily shape the tree slightly different and certainly you can place the leaves, birds and frames where ever you want. I made sure to measure out exactly where I wanted to put it before I began sticking it to the wall. I cut out the main pieces of the trunk and branches and taped them to the wall before peeling the decals off of the backing to make sure I had it positioned properly. Two days after I installed it, I noticed that one part was starting to peel away from the wall. I pressed it back into place and it has not peeled back up. I went to Ikea and picked up regular black picture frames to use. I'm excited to print the pictures and finish this up! I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again!

I had originally thought of painting a large "family tree" on my wall to display family pictures. Boy was this a time saver! It is very large, covers just the right amount of space, (measure beforehand, of course!) and looks stunning. It took me about 30 minutes to take it all out, arrange it just the way I wanted on the wall, and hang pictures where I wanted them. You don't even need the little "frame" stickers that come with it, although they could be used as a guide, I suppose. The only tiny, and I mean tiny, complaint I have is that since it doesn't come in one large piece, some of the pieces don't fit EXACTLY together. Some of the tree limbs are just slightly larger than the piece it sticks on to. Not a big deal, unless you are OCD or an extreme perfectionist. Also, I have never had a problem with anything falling off of the wall, and it's been up there almost a year. I made sure to clean the wall and dry it well before I stuck it up there The best part was the price. It's unbeatable. I looked up similar products, and this was a fraction on the cost.

This is the BEST!!! I have this on the wall behind our couch and it looks fantastic. The pic makes it look a tiny bit bigger then what is, but it's still a HUGE sticker to put on the wall. I did find that it does not stick as well as the Alphabets I got for my Toddlers Room, but it still sticks. I doubt I will be able to reuse it though if we ever move. It's definitely a one time use wall sticker, which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5.DO NOT EVEN BOTHER with trying to use the sticker frames for pics...it will not work! I did not expect it to and using them was not my intent, Another reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. I tried to makes the framess work, but they ended up not sticking and would just fall off the wall. I only did it as a test and the test failed.I actually use REAL frames instead of the stickers, which sort of gives it this 3D affect. It's WAAAAAAAAY better using actual frames! I just got cheap 4x6 black frames (5x7 I thought was a little too big) from Walmart and they look fantastic!

I think they have made some updates based on feedback. They have a numbered key map for all the pieces, but it is small and on one of the vinyl sheets on the bottom. Everything is numbered in white so I removed the key and put it on the wall so I could see it in front of a dark background and read it. I make my own decals, but my cutter isn't big enough to make something like this. With that being said, there are two types of vinyl. Permanent and non-permanent. This is non-permanent so you can move it. It doesn't stick great, but you can take a hair dryer and use the hot setting for about 5 to 10 seconds on each part to warm the vinyl and help it stick. (It will peel up in some areas with the wind, that's fine. Just use your hand to smooth it out and stick it back down.) It doesn't take long and then it sticks perfectly now. I love the design and it looks great on my red wall!
