I returned this color and get the grey instead:I needed a day bag if I go out with my toddler and need to have my stuff too all in one bag, and it did the purpose in great way and even felt lighter than I thought, I guess because of the signature back design that makes osprey items so comfy. (I had 25 l back pack same brand for years and worked great in my hiking trails).I went for long hikes with it: one to the Zoo, and another in NYC (6 hours of walking). I noticed when I added my leather jacket (was big but not heavy), it felt not comfortable and the straps kinda hurt my shoulders. So the Zoo trip was later and I put necessary stuff there and worked great for 3 hours of walking.

Nice sturdy pack with more padding for comfort on shoulder straps than most packs this size. I like the adjustable straps around the water bottle pockets. Top loop Fits snugly on handle of my carry-on luggage. Will easily fit under airplane seat. Lots of pockets. Quality zippers too. There are lighter packs but No way will this pack fall apart on the first use. Good, trustworthy brand and well designed. Will use as personal item on trips and will pack small empty handbag in carry-on.

This is a very good small-sized backpack that can be used for travel. Although a 10L pack may be more ideal in some scenarios, I can fit my 15-inch Macbook in this. The Magma Brown looks much better in person than the online images.Also, I found the upper and lower straps that wrap around your torso to be very annoying. Luckily (or maybe this is intentional on the part of the designers), you can cut them off and completely remove both straps such that that there are no cuts/damage remaining on the pack once your done. The only thing that remains is the small plastic loops on the upper shoulder straps and that plastic strap-resizing thing from the lower straps, which is sowed into the backpack.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect Disneyland backpack! We also take it to any of our day outings. Great backpack and wears really well. Hubby kept borrowing our teenagers so I had to come back and by him his own.

Kids bought themselves one also. Grabbed a hydro pack to put inside for hikes. Not too big. Good quality.

Would prefer a light colored lining to make it easer to locate items in pack. Outside slide storage area to hold maps, logs, etc.. overall light weight and comfortable

More expensive than the alternative, but well worth the money. Material, build, and functionality justify the price.

I am a teacher and I use it everyday for bringing my laptop and papers. I prefer it to big large handbags!Zipper and a front pocket makes it easy to save some items like keys and/or pens and few others.
