So much potential.. wasted
there are 3 different ways to mount it.1) At the stem cap (which didn't work for me because I have a stem extension) and2) Using the provide standoffs screws where the handlebar mounts.3) around the handle barsThe release mechanism spreads the cradle's wings apart very smoothly. And the options for mounting are abundant. The concept is good but the execution is horrible. Here's why:Cons1) The removable cradle is the weak point in this setup. It slides right off the bike mount with very little effort. There is no locking mechanism. You easily knock into it and there goes your $700 iPhone. Even if they just put a set screw, that might have been enough. 2) the rubber net is REALLY stretched to its limits with my HTC One M8. Which is not a big phone by today's standards. I imagine the big iPhone or Samsung Note could tear it. There's is a second elastic band that could go across the screen but that's somewhat obstructive.3) A good portion of the phone will hang over the unsupported part of the cradle which makes it out of balance and wanting to pop offSorry this is going back.

Reliable phone mount
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. As somebody who loves biking I know how frustrating it can be to have your phone in the pockets, where it can easily fall and break. I have been using this bike mount for about 15 miles and these are some of the reasons why I think it deserves 5 stars:- Its main components are made of plastic, meaning that it is corrosive resistant.- Installing is not very easy and it takes too long, which means that it is somehow protected from getting stolen.- Its releasing mechanism is pretty simple and easy to use. The button is located in the back of the mount.- It supports phones up to the Note 3 (with an Otterbox case on), iPhone 6s Plus, etc.- The angle of the phone can be adjusted and the rubber traps do not cover the audio jack.- The phone can be charged while mounted on it.- It is very lightweight.>What's included?<- Mount- Pipe adapter- User guide- Red silicone trap- Allen wrenches- Stem adapter>This mount was provided to me as a free sample or with a discount for review purposes. Please let me know if my review helped you make a buying decision by clicking the Yes button down below.<Enjoy the video!

Could be better
This holder does hold the phone to the holder well, however it only good for half of the work. The other half? Holding the tray (holder) to the bike, not so well. The 3 prongs from the gimble to the tray slides on, but doesn't lock well. So it'll slide right off when you hit a bump. Good thing the rubber band was grabbing the tray (holder) or it would of knocked it right off the bike.

Nice bike mount for larger cell phones
This bike mounted phone holder comes with everything you need to mount it on your bike. I do like that it is a larger holder and will hold our phones even with the cases on them.Installation was easy, which is nice because there were no instructions included. They would not have been needed but it is always nice to have in case you are missing a part or are having a user error moment.Once mounted, the holder does stay in place and holds tightly to your phone. I would suggest that you check the holder each and every time you use it just to make sure that nothing has become loose. It works nicely with a bluetooth headset but you can also use with an external speaker on a mount too.One of our bikes had a small enough post that the holder could be mounted just under the handle bar area. The others required mounting on the handle bars which also makes it easy to see your phone while riding. It is a nice bike mount that is made to handle larger phones with the cases still on.If you have any questions about my experience please leave me a comment.
