Absolute rubbish !
Wish there was a no star option. Anyone with half a brain could work out who it was within the first few chapters. Not a mature read, more for teenagers. I didn’t finish it, was just too boring and very poorly written. You could read this as an alternative to sleeping pills, you’ll soon nod off !!

The Ex-Girlfriend
Wow what a rollercoaster of a book this was! I flew through this in a few sittings and it is unbelievably juicy and suspenseful. I twigged early on about Luke but not to the full extent obviously. It was fantastic and played with the idea of doubting one self, even as a reader, as to what was the truth. It pulled everything together into a perfect picture, like slowly tying the perfect knot until everything slotted perfectly into place. Fantastic writing. Both female leads were fantastic and it covers the topic of mental health and domestic violence really well. It was such a page turner and I would definitely look out for another of Moriarty’s books. I do own and DNF’d the fifth letter which is another of her books but this was absolutely fantastic and had me on the edge of my seat. Definitely one of my favourite thrillers of the year and I’ve read a lot of this this year!!

Ex Girlfriend. Ex-citing? Ex-huberant? Ex-cruciating!!
While this isn't a totally bad novel, it's not particularly good either. It passed a night when insomnia kept me awake. It didn't put me to sleep, like one of the one star reviewers thought. The baddie in the book was easily spotted a short way into the book. Luke is a villain right out of Central Casting; a pantomime villain that should slink off the pages, twirling his moustache and muttering "Curses!".The two female characters aren't much better, really. Again, the typical needy, anxious, nervy, clingy weeds that writers just love to portray as victims.I admit I'm only 75 per cent of the way through the book and not sure if I can finish it TBH.I'm hoping that the two women can grow some cojones and kick the evil Luke into touch. But, frankly my dears, I don't give a darn.

I cannot recommend this book enough
This is the first book that I have read by the author and it sure has hell wont be last. I absolutely loved this book. The Ex Girlfriend takes stalking to another level. When we follow a twisty and creepy story which will take you on a rollercoaster ride not knowing who to trust.I was hooked from the start and devoured this book. The more I read the more I wanted to know. It is full of OMG moments keeping you on the edge of the seat. This is a well crafted story each page leaves you wanting more. Just when I thought I had it all worked out the author throws you sideways with another twist!I am not going to say to much about the plot because this is a story you need to read for yourself. I cannot recommend it enough giving it all the stars.

Predictable, basic characters, cringeworthy
The main character definitely drives a Fiat 500, drinks Starbucks and wears Ugg boots, she drove me insane with how cliche she was and how ridiculously naive and weak, I don't think this book would have got past a chapter had the main character had some kind of adult life experience, and to make her profession a nurse is insulting to nurses as they are a lot more street wise than Georgia!! The story was extremely predictable and very cringe in most parts, I carried on reading as I was sure there would be some amazing twist to redeem the rest of the book but I was wrong!
