The traps work...if you put them in the right location.
You can see from the pictures that these traps work. I put out four of them (two each) in the two patios outside of our office suite, and the picture shows the result after about 3 weeks. The picture is of the trap that worked the best, next to the building wall near a little used door, partial shade facing south. The other three traps did not catch as many mosquitos on the sticky cards. I suspect it's because they are in areas where they get more dust blown around by the landscape crew and their leaf blowers, so the cards get dusty pretty quickly. I moved one of them to a more protected location today; we'll see if that helps. So if you put these out and you don't catch enough mosquitos, try different locations (out of the way of leaf blowers!) before giving up.

Worthless and expensive plastic containers
First the product was repackaged and reaped, so clearly a used/returned product being sold as new. Followed the instructions to the letter and left out for a week, didnt catch anything, repositioned a few times as well. I saw tiger mosquitos fly around the top almost using it like an air conditioner, lol. So disappointing, I am going to get a pest control company to come out and do their thing. Clearly I am not the only one who has returned this.

A poor value and not efective
First, this is low tech, cheap plastic, so the price is way too high. And if that were not enough, they don't work particularly well. After 2 weeks, we have maybe a dozen mosquitos trapped in each while a different trap nearby has captured hundreds.

Gravid females
Great concept but seems mediocre. Not many mosquitoes. Might be due to other mosquito lure.

Definitely works; placement is key
It works — check the cards, add water, and/or move the trap if the location isn’t productive enough. Mine are on a south-facing shaded patio. Tiger mosquitos had gotten really bad around my house in the past couple of years and I’ve tried various sprays, screens and traps. Started BioGents on New Year’s day 2022 (and forgot to change the cards until mosquitos got really bad in April.) This time, I had 40 mosquitos crowded on the sticky cards when i changed them — after just a week — and incredibly, I’m no longer surrounded by clouds of mosquitos out front; most of the ones i see these days are stuck in the trap or flying into it. My only question now: will it work on other mosquitoes once the tigers are all gone? A nice problem to have, but I don’t know the answer yet. It catches mostly mosquitos, but also gnats, depending on the location. Super easy to use, but you do have to refill cards and water in season. So far the sticky cards have been easy to re order, about $10 a pack. I like the product and hope it sticks around :)

Works!
This thing actually works! We’ve got the tiger mosquito in bucks county and they are out of control. I hate chemicals that have to be sprayed on the lawn and so I’ve been looking for an alternative for some time. I bought one of those fancy repellents and as I was sitting next to it the mosquitos put their bibs on and prepared to dine… so I was skeptical about this but figured I’d return it if it didn’t work. A day after setting it wasn’t so impressive, just a few... but over the next several days and weeks it got better and more and more filled with mosquitos. I think as the water gets dank and nasty from sitting it is more attractive to them. I put some leaves and dirt in the water to make it better. It does work. Not like millions trapped, but 100s over times and that adds up to less eggs and less mosquitos. So I like it and give it a thumbs up.

Total waste of money. Doesn't work.
After four weeks, not one catch! None, zero, nada!Total waste of money.I wish i can get a refund, but since you have to try it 4 weeks or so to see if it works well, a month time frame has passed and i am not eligible for a refund any longer. Great!

Simply the best!
Bought this last year for a huge tiger mosquito problem. We live two blocks from a lake. Now we don't really have a problem at all.The left picture is a knockoff brand from Amazon with 5 stars. The right is BIOGENT sticky pad. Both pads are the same age, set just yards apart.
