We purchased two 100' strands not for a special event, but for full time use in our back yard. We've had them up only a week so I don't know how well they will hold up over a longer period of time, but so far I am very happy with the product. I strung them myself using a cabling kit made specifically for this purpose and was able to run the cables and hang both sets of lights in only a couple of hours without assistance.The light strands have hooks on each bulb socket that clip over the cable, a feature I specifically looked for when I ordered these lights. They're also very light weight, which make them easy to hang and not very stressful on the cables.I also specifically chose these lights for their dimming option and included remote control. We keep them at 25% for ambiance, a light level much like candlelight. For specific activities where more light is needed they step up nicely to 50%, 75%, or 100%, but even 100% is not too bright and glaring. They're very nice at all light settings.I like the warm glow of the lights and the classic, retro look of the clear bulbs, even though they are energy efficient LEDs instead of incandescent.We are blessed with very mild winters so they will be left up year round. it will be interesting to see how well they hold up to full time use.

These lights are perfect for my little covered porch. I was so excited to hang them. They are bright and I love all the options the remote control has.I was so sad when a few weeks after hanging them the remote control suddenly stopped working and the lights would only light up very dimly when plugged in. I reached out to the seller and we did a little troubleshooting together. We were unable to fix the issue so the seller sent me a new remote and plug. It fixed the problem and my lights work again.Thank you for being so responsive.

Attractive, sturdy, weatherproof. Remote works well.Note that they are not super bright. They are great if you only want relaxing lighting, like for dinner or social gatherings, but not bright enough to work or read under.

These lights are beautiful! They were definitely a mess to untangle, but It was worth It. I love the remote control capability. Lights can change from 100% brightness down to 25% brightness, and can be steady on or blinking. The bulbs are a nice sturdy plastic, and comes with 2 extra. Would recommend!

I bought these a year ago almost to the day. Suddenly, they do not work. I checked all connections, replaced batteries in the remote - nothing. Maybe the bulbs last but the workmanship of the cable seems not to be trusted. No place to go for assistance w/ the manufacture?Buy a brand you can trust.

The media could not be loaded.  The lights were spaced to far apart in between so we doubled them up went one direction and then overlapped them to come back. We love them! Very happy!
