I’ve used a comparator for many years and as the pool I look after is only small, I didn’t think about buying a photometer. However this year we trained our new lifeguards so they could carry out the water testing and they weren’t very confident using the comparator, so we purchased this kit and now I wonder why we never bought it sooner. It gives an accurate reading and makes adding chemicals a much simpler process. Plus it can do all the tests we need for our pool the function, also it was much cheaper on Amazon which is another reason why we bought this model.
