I received my cord today in the mail. It works just fine! The maximum length of my cord from end to end (plug to plug) measured exactly 13.25". Close enough in my opinion. As others have mentioned, the polarization of the plugs are inconsistent. In fact, the very description does indicate that the female end is polarized but male end is not. Don't even ask me why they've decided to do this, but it is what it is. I knew this fact up front, so again, no stars taken off for it.Here's a simple tip for those who are disgruntled over the polarization issue. What I have done was simply taken my multimeter and set it to the audible continuity test setting. Insert one prong of your multimeter into either slot of the female end and touch the other prong to either individual male plug ends. If it beeps or doesn't beep, you know which is which. Simply take a Sharpie, tape or a sticker and somehow identify which end corresponds to the skinny or wide polarized plugs. Voila! This isn't rocket science. You'll then keep your polarization consistent throughout your chain of house wiring, extension cord and whatever you have plugged into the end of it. Simple!I gave it a five star rating for the fact that the cord is advertised properly and by the fact that the cord seems to be of a decent quality, regardless of the polarization hiccup that I knew of in advance. If you need a simple ungrounded AC patch cord, I'd recommend this.

perfect solution for Mac Power Supply when you cant connect their built in plug

Needed a comically short power cord because some very smart engineer somewhere decided to put a portable car battery charger/starter charging port in a strange area that cannot at all be easily charged from a standard home outlet. This product allowed me to get the small extra bit of length needed to reach the outlet.Overall - it works. Design is not anything to write home about, but there is nothing defective with this product. Does what it says it does.

I picked this up to carry with me when I bought a GaN charger for my tablet and laptop. I occasionally run into situations where the charger (with the plug blades on the brick) won't fit on the outlet either because of other items plugged in or the outlet is recessed. This works perfectly for getting into those tight spots but still be compact and portable enough to keep in my bag at all times. And it's sturdy enough to support the weight of a charge dangling if you can't set it somewhere.

I bought this to extend the inverted DC to AC outlet in the back seat of my Passport. Now I have no trouble plugging in anything and being able to turn the socket on and off without plugging or unplugging from the outlet whatever I am using at the time. Kind of nerdy, but oh well! Works great for me.

So I miscalculated and would have had to pull a LOT of cable management staples/clips so the need for this was 100% on me. I'm glad I picked this up as it is as sturdy and reliable as something like this needs to be and the price was right. If you also mess up measuring and need that TINY bit more length/reach go ahead and get this.
