Q: What material are the Tea Bags made from?

Once Yogi's tea blends are ready for packaging, they’re placed inside tea bag filtration paper made from a select blend of high-quality manila hemp (abaca) fibers and wood pulp, which is free from plastics. This filtration paper is oxygen bleached – a natural process that’s free of chemicals or toxins. Along with all other components of Yogi's packaging, this paper is free of gluten, GMOs and corn, and does not contain any of the eight FDA-recognized allergens (tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat or soybeans). Once Yogi's tea blends are secured in tea bag filtration paper, they are then individually packed in heat-sealed envelopes to preserve their intrinsic health benefits and maintain freshness and delicious flavor.

Q: Why does the 'other ingredients' section says "flavor" instead of the organic herbs itself. Where is the "flavor" part derived from?

Yogi prides itself on sourcing high-quality herbs and botanicals from around the world. Some of the teas also contain Organic Flavors to enhance the unique flavor experience. These flavors are made from natural sources such as spices, fruits, herbs and roots, and do not contain, nor are they processed with, any artificial ingredients. They are also vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, and do not contain Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG). Further, all Yogi teas and the Organic Flavors used in them are made without any of the nine FDA-recognized allergens and therefore do not contain milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, wheat or soybeans. Great product but manufacturered different from Amazon

I highly recommend this tea for its properties. I've seen how it calms my Mother after her breathing treatment. However Yogi must have changed their bags. They fall apart and you can no longer pull the string off. My mother gets bits and some times a mouth full of raw tea from her travel mug. We tend to encounter this from the Amazon inventory. When I buy this same tea from a grocery store. They have the old sturdy bags that you can easily slide the string off. Please go back to this.
