Good camera for money, but not perfect.
We purchased this camera to keep an eye on my wife's 84 year old mother who lives in our basement. It was easy to setup and I'm happy with the picture. The only thing I don't like is the time on the screen is incorrect. It is set to Chinese time not local and nothing in instructions to tell how to change this. I went to the company's website and it is in Chinese. The camera meets our needs but needs some improving. First picture is with minimal light coming through window. Second picture is about 30 minutes later. Good night vision.UPDATEWe have had the camera about 5 weeks now. I still like the camera but company needs to hire someone that speaks English. The problem with the time display was my bad. There is a time setting in the settings but not correct. I live in Mountain Time Zone and selected it but it was a couple hours off. Finally after figuring out the difference between GMT (Greenwich Mean Time and Mountain Time I got the correct time to display on screen. This should be programmed to read the time on iPhone or iPad. Just a small annoyance but should be fixed. I am adding a screenshot of the app control panel. I added the red lettering to explain these controls since the i (information button doesn't work on my iPhone or iPad). Only through trial and error did I figure out what these switches were for. Good camera for the money and considering adding another one in living room.

please do not waste your money these cams do not work when I got on a plane to see my house from my trip to new Orleans to view my home and make shru every thing was ok , to my surprize the cams did n work it keeps saying camara off line all the whole time I was out of town these cams never worked good at all so I never got to see if my house was ok ,,,, and they keep saying camara is online the sdcard is ready far from the truth so please don't buy them because they don't work its nothing but junk from japan or some far away land like china... buy USA only ....

Great camera!
Works perfectly! It was amazingly easy to set up and video quality is top notch. The two way sound works great as well.Now I keep getting a message that the firmware on camera must be updated and when I hit "OK" the app just restarts and goes through the same thing over and over. Uninstalled everything and after 2 days it starred doing the same thing. Fix this and it's back to a 5 star review. Have to rate 1 star since I can no longer use this camera. Update is now fixed and camera is working great again.

It was supposed to be good till it didn't work.
Night vision which worked well in the beginning now seems to not work, and we've only had this for about 3 months. Connection seems to drop frequently and doesn't reestablish itself. As a device, I would give it 2 stars, but since it's marketed as a device to take care of children and elderly and isn't reliable, I'm only giving 1 star. There doesn't seem to be any support for the camera as well or I might have bumped up to 2 stars.

Great camera but only worked for 2 months!
Purchased this camera to keep an eye on my son while he was in his room. 2 months later, it no longer works. It says the firmware needs to be updated and when you go to settings to update it, it kicks you out to restart the app. We've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app and it continues to do the same thing. $80 down the drain. The company isn't trying to fix the issue. There are tons of complaints! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CAMERA! AT THIS POINT IT WILL NOT WORK! I'm so pissed that I can't get my money back. I can't even contact the company. Buyer beware!

Camera has great picture. Works well with minimal lag
Camera has great picture. Works well with minimal lag, however I cannot find how to change the time/date anywhere. I have reset the camera a few times. Nowhere on the app does the setting to change time and date appear. My camera is constantly stuck in a time setting 11 hours ahead of my time zone (EST) and I have no way to fix this.

first time I used this camera was good, but now the update doesn't work keep on crashing. can't use this camera. waste of money
Just can't find where to switch from Black and white to color picture. If someone can let me know. Otherwise it is a very good camera,.easy to install, clear picture for the money.
