These are my favorite spoons! I use them so often. They are easy to clean up and they're sturdy. I like the wood used and they look nice if you put them in a utensil jar or hang them. Great buy for a low cost compared to other spoons I looked at.

I have wooden spoons my mother gave me that are/were 20+ years old. People that watch me cook call them my "wands". Recently, the long one broke, so I set about finding a new one. These looked pretty ok and not very expensive, so grabbed them. And boy are these things dry. I've been oiling them with grape seed oil and gently roasting them at 200 degrees F (93c). This may end up being a lost cause, because the wood grain is pretty rough on the concave part of the spoon. I may try and sand it with some fine grit steel wool, or I may start again and search America's Test Kitchen and similar YouTube channels for quality wooden spoons that are finished, pre-seasoned, and ready to spend decades in the kitchen. I'm not giving up yet, as these feel good in my hand, but if you're looking for a High Quality Spoon right out of the box, these are not them. If you're looking for inexpensive spoons and a challenging project, these can't be beat.
